I go to an all boys school and I am thoroughly out now. It is definitely a trick one. I'm currently in year 10 and sexuality is such a big topic I notice that comes up daily when I look around the school. Not saying it gets discussed properly most of the time as it doesn't and a lot of homophobic behavouir goes on but I think I've been pretty lucky.
I'd say depending on the type of people in your school... would it be worth it? Do you have friends you can rely on? And how is homosexuality general taken in your school.
PS: I got the confidence to cope with it from my youth mentor/councillor. Don't think they have them in ever school but some can be helpful. ~Shaded Black~
