I guess it depends on the way the person says it. If it's just jokingly, then I wouldn't mind. But if they say it seriously as if they actually look as if they think you're from another planet, then I would get ticked off.
And personally, I think insulting someone by calling them a fag or queer are the most weakest insults you could actually fabricate. "एक बुदि्धमान लड़का अपने खो पैंट , एक जानकार लड़का अपने पैंट पर रखता ह" "A smart guy loses his pants, a wise one keeps his pants on."
