I've been thinking of my orientation all year now that I've been able to go online and figure out why sometimes I liked guys more than girls, and have learned a lot. I've also been a Mormon my whole life, not the fake polygamy people that say they're mormon, but a true believing LatterDaySaint. Anyway, this Christian faith of mine says being bi/gay is a sin, and that we should 'help' people that are homosexual become straight. With only a Mom that is a devout Mormon, waht's a guy like me to do? My family is very anti-gay, and I don't want to be some party animal. I want to be able to be in close relationships in the future. Comments on my predicament? "Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law. The commandments, 'You shall not commit adultery, You shall not kill, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,' and any other commandment, are SUMMED up in THIS sentence, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the FULFILLING of the law." RSV Romans 13:8-10
