I like to think that you don't have to respect organized religion, but we do have to tolerate it. After all, we all know what intolerance breeds; hate.
What I have faith in is that if you teach them your side and opinions on stuff like evolution, homosexuality and religion, the smart ones will come around and either change or at least respect you and your opinions.
The others I try to keep out of my life, but I don't hate them. If you've any brains at all you won't waste time on the stupid people.
