Recently, i have been thinking about this question; When do you know if your gay??
I think im gay but not too sure, i think i mainly like the idea of gay sex, however, a gay life does not appeal to me. When im older, i dream of having a wife, kids etc etc. Anyone else feel like this or used to?? Please any advice would be appreciated. x

Well it all depends on what makes you think that you're gay. I used to have the same state of mind. I was always attracted to men more than women, but always had the dream of having a wife and kids. After TONS of thinking, I've decided that I'm bi, but more towards the side of gay. It all depends on what makes you think that you are gay and how you feel about the women.

Seeing as homosexuality is a sexual attraction to people of the same gender, neither of the two examples you gave would really make you gay or not gay. It's theoretically viable, for example, for a guy to have sex with another guy whilst not being gay. However, in today's world, it's next to non-existent.
As long as you're attracted to guys you're somewhat substantially gay. If you're attracted to women as well, all the more power to you. A 'gay life' is what you make it, it can be as stereotypically 'camp' as the films would have you believe, or it can be your own unique one, you decide. You should always respect one's religious beliefs, however imaginary friends, delusional behaviour, a belief in a two thousand year old folk-lore should be treated by a professional.

I don't think that having a dream of having a wife and kids is substantial enough to qualify one as being bisexual. It could just be the dream that society has made you think you want through them making all young boys think that having a wife and kids is 'the norm'. I think that having a wife and kids is a sterotype and it doesn't make you bi or straight ! But of course if you are gay and if you really dream about having a wife I guess that it won't be easy ! Personally I've never dreamt about having a wife and kids, I picture myself with a men and...only.

From what I get if you are attracted to dudes you are probably gay.
It doesn't mean that you dont want to have kids or a family or anything.
Deep down I think everyone knows if they are gay or straight or bi or whatever.
