First thing to say would be that I've always liked Sonic games, even the later ones like Sonic Heroes which loads of people complained about.
That is until I bought the newest one, which had more general complaints than normel (which I decided to ignore). Unfortunately they were all correct.
I guess there's two main reasons I hate with all my soul:
1. The gameplay is terrible as every level I've played so far has either been badly designed or your playing as a charcter that you cannot say it fun to play as (Tails throwing ring bombs!?!?!?).
2. You cannot try and put Sonic in a realistic looking world! You could get away with it on the last gen consoles as the graphics weren't as good so it wasn't annoying. But you cannot do it on next gen with a charcter whose design has barely changed since the mega drive.
Oh and i forgot the loading times, oh how hate the loading times
