I absolutely hate it! It's just trying to cash in on the fame that Grease had, but nothing can beat Grease. To me it's just a pile of teenage crap, even if Zac, Corbin and the fruity guy is cute...

High school musicaaaallll... eerrr... not my kinda thing...
But Zac Efron IS cute... although that's about it... He's just eye candy to meeee... Doesn't strike me at all by charm, witt, personality, humour or anything... Basically... A cute... but boring fella.

OMG!!!! I hate those films soooo much. It's just so cheesy and well Zac, he maybe good lookng guys....but he really can't act to save his life. I don't know how it got it's musical status?! I have danced all my life and consequently performed, and I cringe at the songs and dance routines. I had to sit through all 2 of the films cos my brother is addicted, and it was painful for me. There is a part in the 2nd one, for example, when Zac/Troy is meant to be singing on stage with Gabriella, but his microphone is down by his waist. Surely, if I can pick that up then the directers should be able to. I can understand why people love it so, and maybe it's because I have performed that I'm so picky about it, I don't know. I just hope that in the 3rd one, their dancing/acting will mature, just like it did from the 1st to the 2nd. But hey..that's just my opinion!

While I agree that Zach Effron is cute, the movie is just alright. I auditioned for the musical last year and made it ... it was High School Musical! Lol.
