What's everyone's opinion on girl gamers?
I myself am one and am for girl gamers obviously
I play my Xbox 360 alot and have gamed since I was old enough to twiddle my thumbs in the right direction.
And no I don't play games such as Barbie: Horse Adventures, I play Halo 3, Ghost Recon and Call of Duty 4. Anything that I think looks interesting really.

I myself am a gamer, doesn't matter what type of game. From Video games, to board games, to games that my brother, cousins and i invented outside. I even enjoy playing a nice card game from time to time. My earliest memory of playing video games would be with one of my older brothers, we had gotten a Sega for christmas, and we would play Sonic on it all the time. The next one would be against my other older brother and i kicked his ass at a game of hockey on the Play Station.
However, not many of my friends play video games, so if i want a challenge i pretty much have to play against their Boyfriends. Altho my best friend likes to play the button pusher games. She is pretty good at those. As well as World Of Warcraft which we are currently hooked on.
I tried to play Hitman once, Totaly sucked at it, i can't sneak up on people for the life of me...HAHA...I've played Call Of Duty 3 when my brother first got his 360. He was always the one to get the gaming counsols, so i finally went and bought my own 360 back in November, i enjoy playing it much more knowing i bought it with my money then from the mama and the papa.
Anyway i think i have babbled enough...

The idea that girls don't play video games is just another stereotype. I, personally dont know many 'hardcore' girl gamers, but a lot of my girl- friends play world of warcraft and enjoy other RPGs like Fable.
My new years resolution: Come out.

ot sure if you count this, but I've got a couple of female friends that often LARP, and another that is always in a dungeons and dragons type thing... both of which they are all trying to get me into with them...

It's rare to find an actual girl gamer, but 99% of the time, they turn out to be one of the most awesome people you've ever met.
I'm personally a girl gamer, and have been since I could hold a controller. Favorite game of all time: Legend of Zelda- Ocarina of Time.
I'm a Nintento nut.
I have a tendacy to borrow my brother's clothes.

all of my female friends play the exact same video games i do (Halo 3, guitarhero 3, Assassins creed, etc) so i got no problem with female gamers because we're all the same really, although one thing i must admit is its more likely that the genders form around certain areas of games however thats not EVERY of that gender, just something i noticed in my friends.

I'm a girl gamer, too. 
I love games such as Final Fantasy, Kingdom hearts, Chrono Trigger... (Most RPGs, actually..) God Of war, Devil May cry.. and wayyy more! I don't have much time for video games though since I'm in university.

Those are all GREAT games, although i never heard of Fable, what type of game is it?

Im more of an rpg and strategy, like AOE, Grandia 2, Legaia, FF and guild wars, and and the free online games by acclaim
but i enjoy some shooters like halo, medal of honour and unreal tournament
