hey his idea isnt actually 4 da site but anyway...ive got this game called secound life...wat its bout it like a 2nd world...an "alter ego" and if u pay money u can create ur own island and customize it 2 wat u want...so wat i wuz thinking wuz we ud create our own island for the gyc so we can have a 3d chat and fly(for real) and go 2 other islands...but also u can ad buildings and also (if u can get the hang of it) u can build ur own, working car...yes it actually moves! but it is real hard 2 work... but also for more info (cuz dare is much much more) go to www.secoundlife.com bu 2 make it work u need 2 download da game...but if people pitch in we could save up sum money 2 buy our own lisland and then the people who can do cool stuff on da computer so if u have any question either go on the site or u cud pm me and ill try 2 answer them k?...check it out ^_^

That is a brilliant idea. I only see one major problem with it... The reason that TheGYC seems to be a bit sluggish sometimes and also why the chatroom will randomly "boot" you out is because we're lacking the memory that we need in our server to support the demand on a daily basis. And as it stands, we do not have the fundings to remedy this.
In order to install the necessary additional GBs of memory it would take to support the website AND the additional that would be necessary for the 3D and everything that goes along with it, we would need serious funding.
Right now, TheGYC is a free service to the LGBT community. We do not want to take on anything that may cause us to have to charge a fee for our service. We like being able to offer our services to the community free of charge!
As I said, that is a brilliant idea, and I wish we could do something of the like. But right now, it's not possible. In the future, we may be able to look into something of that caliber, but not right now.
