How come there aren't RP's here? Come on guys (and girls) bring out the role player within you! I am starting one now (everyone who reads this must join!)
----- Notes/Rules: * For those who don't know what an RP is: it is role playing as anyone/anything you want and it forms a sort of story. Generally they have a speical ability (which is what this RP will be) * If you want to speak out of character either type, OOC:"type here", or write what you need to say in double brackets, i.e. (("type here")) * If you are entering the role play for the first time you need to give everyone a quick background/summary of characteristics for your character * You cannot kill another persons character * You cannot make yourself a "God" character * You cannot make your character control another mutants mind; or edit it etc. (sorry!)
----- Setting: I'm going to start the role play in a school for "gifted" students. So for early starters your character will need to be a teacher or a student. All the characters will be quasi-mutants. Much like X-Men or the TV show Heroes. There is a universal bad guy who can be introduced somewhere in the story. Generally, the story line will be primarily the school are "good guys" and are against the universal bad guy (and his bad team of bad mutants).
----- My Character (use this as a template for your character):
Name: Xavier Rowpindi (Nickname: Rawl) Gender: Male Age: 17 Ability: Can manipulate/control electricity (cannot create electricity). Appearance: Much like myself (see display picture). He usually wears sports jackets and jeans. He always carries a battery or other electricity source. Background: Not fully in control of his abilities (more to be revealed, obviously) Perspective: 3rd Person
----- Begin RP:
Rawl had been in math class for 30 minutes. He'd been itching for it to finish, next he had his one on one tuition for his ability. Abilities was every student at Genetic Grammars favourite class. Not only was it incredibly fun to learn how to throw electricity around, but it was also ungraded. Rawl was sketching a picture of himself drawing lightning to earth when he heard his name called out, "Rawl could you please tell the class the answer?" "Errr..." Rawl had never been good at academic subjects. But luckily someone else jumped in with the answer...

Ability: Can change appearance at will. Extremely skilled at sneaking around unnoticed. Can also make vegetation flourish on command (not a power that he finds very useful, but it can come in handy.)
Appearance: His regal, aquiline features are framed by shaggy, fiery aburn hair, and he dresses his slender frame in trendy, well-fitting clothes. (That is, he looks like this when not playing a character.)
Background: He's very apprehensive about discussing his past, so few know of his true nature (frankly, neither will you.)

Ability: Has psychic abilities. Can move small objects through will power, and can also manipulate people's minds (on their decisions), but cannot take control over their bodies. Mind manipulation does not work on mutants

Story: "five x squared" i replied. I didnt want Rawl getting into trouble again... He never seemed to enjoy math very much. His abilities are pretty amazing though, I'm still trying to figure out how mine all work. I'm struggling in Abilities... and that is where Rawl helps me out quite often.
Finally, the bell rang. As I approached the door, somebody tapped my shoulder. I turned around...

Name: King Naag of the Cobras Gender: Male Age: 20 Ability: Can transform freely into another person and cobra. Appearance: Much like myself (see display picture). He usually wears tribal clothing and a cobra crown. He always carries the naagmani which is the stone which gives the holder the power to rule the earth. Background: Inherited the kingdom so that he may be able to protect the naagmani from the hands of evil humans to prevent them destroying the earth. He is married to the the Queen Naaginn who shares the responsibility of keeping the naagmani safe. Perspective: 3rd Person

storyline:
King and Queen dacing at a festival, when the naagmani falls out of the kings pocket. He is searching frantically for it. A human picks it up and hands it back to him not knowing what it is. The king thanks him. The humans brother knows that he gave the naagmani back to the king and has him under house arrest. The brother kills the king and queen. The kings daughter vows to take revenge for her parents death and bring the naagmani back and prevent the world being placed in the hands of evil. The daughter takes the form of a beautiful woman and seduces the killers brother to take revenge on the whole of his family and take the naagmani back.

My character:
Name: Valent waers
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Ability: (main ability) telekinectic, can move things with his mind but he can also move the cellular structure of animals, plants and..... humans. (sub ability) Can manipulate people and place nightmares nd fake memories in peoples minds.
Appearance: Dark black hair, cropped to the left and the left side has white highlights. tall, midly tanned, slim and toned... usually wears dark clothes but usually its black jeans with a white shirt plus shoes/trainers.
Background: Parents were murdered by him at three but he doesn't know this and i don't think he ever will. He was adopted by an elderly couple but then they passed away and now Valent is at Genetics.....

"hey" Valent said with mild interest. "Xander, if you need any help then feel free to ask". Valent casually used his abilities to float around his notebooks which as usual he did because he loved to show off and believed that he had one of the strongest abilities. "I'm free after abilities, stupid head got me lifting plates....again" Valent was usually pissed off that he couldn't manipulate the cellular structure but apprently he couldn't control his abilities. "give me a shout later, cya " Before Valent left he couldn't help but play around so he decided to lift rawl a few feet off the ground. As he saw the shock in his eyes he couldn't help but laugh......
