My favourite band would have to be Epica, I abosolutely love the lead vocalist (Simone Simons) she has an amazing voice, and they also write some great texts (atleast I think so, heh )

Well i listen to all types of music.
I dont have a specific type so im open to everything
Heres my top five 
1) Regina Spektor : American , beautiful and some one to listen to at a coffe shop or bar.
2)Kate Nash : New, Different , her idle is Regina Spektor ^^
3)Hadouken! : Rave !!!!!!
4)Bloc Party : Listen to postive tension!!
5)Anything from a musical

I am insanely picky in my music tastes. I only have about 250 songs on my entire iPod. But there are artists that stand out to me...
Nightwish stands far and above any other band or artist. I find at least 2/3 of their songs amazing. M.I.A., Lily Allen, t.A.T.u., My Chemical Romance (Black Parade era), Sarah Brightman, After Forever, Britney Spears
Symphonic metal, electronic pop. Anything intense and theatrical sounding. Minor keys are heavily preferred.

same here- although less of the theatrical. and i like my music dissonant (Y)

t.A.T.u is definetly my fave group. I have all their songs on iTunes and can't stop listening to their newest song, beliy plashik. Other than that, I love Girls Aloud, Leona Lewis, Gwen Stefani, Spice Girls, Steps...you get the picture!

Hmm well I have three favourite artists: Scissor Sisters, Mae and Kate Rusby. But there are so many others I love; Fountains of Wayne, Go West, Hard-Fi, The Fratellis, Trespassers William, AC/DC, Queen, Joanna Newsom, Queens of the Stone Age, Reel Big Fish, Red Hot Chili Peppers, R.E.M, Lily Allen, Barenaked Ladies, Basement Jaxx, Corinne Bailey Rae, The Cardigans, Depeche Mode. Damn this is a tough one. I like most things metal, and lean towards black and death metal.
Favorites are:

2)Nile
3)Dimmu Borgir
4)Slayer

I'm loving Fall Out Boy at the moment and Avenged Sevenfold just seem to speak to me through their lyrics along with +44.
I'm really into everything from Timbaland to Punk. But I just can't stand Dj's the now, I hate the squeaky voices, I compare it to scratching a chalk board

Let's see, there's Evanescence, Within Temptation, Nightwish, t. A. T. u., Alexz Johnson and Utada Hikaru.
Otherwise it's soundtracks from games or single tracks here-and-there.
