now i was wonder about this questions becuase i think at a certian age most of us are slightly shallow (correct me if im wroung) and every since i have been on the gyc it seams to be quite a shallow place so yeah i was wondering lol

for me personality is more important. yeah looks are great but in the long run could you really stay together with someone if you can't stand their personality.
basically, you can be attracted to someone who looks nice, but you can only fall in love with them if the personality is right.

I agree with edincur, but to be fair the looks are the first thing you notice. You can't deny that whatsoever. You approach someone at the pub because you like the look of them. Then you decide on their personality and where you could take the relationship.
I defy anyone to tell me that they go entirely on personality, or that they notice someone's personality before their looks, because it's a physical impossibility.

cause some1 that is just short generally won't want 2 be with some1 that tall and huge and all muscle.

msp880 - yeah you're very right, should have mentioned that. of course physical attraction is pretty much always what sparks the initial interest. you're right, you'll never really want to be with someone that you're not attracted to and thats a fact, i was just highlighting that personality is what holds things together and makes it truely work.

Well, actually...it is possible to base on personality before looks in some cases. Take online dating or something along those lines. You do not always get to see what the other person looks like so you have to start with the personality. Living for the day, Working for tomorrow. Taking life as it comes and making it what I want.

You're quite right, but I was mainly referring to 'real-life' - for want of a better phrase - dating.
