Okay, I know this doesn't fit the title but to be honest its just showing how resiliant I am to those type of comments. In all honesty and truth, nobody has really ever called me anything serious.. maybe a "poof" once or twice, but thats cool to me.
Really, my point here is that see those comments, they're only skin deep. Too many people take it to heart too much - although I understand that to many, they are rather offensive. If someone walked up to me the now and said, "Hey faggot, chicks are for dicks, did you know?" my response to that would be, "Well, I did know, but its good to share in this world." May seem smarmy and awfully sircastic, but the word "faggot" etc means little to me and often the people who complain about it the most are closet gays anyways that can't come to terms with themselves, but rather abuse others in their wake.
For these people I feel sorry. I love who I am, and don't care what anybody else thinks People that know me, and even general people know this because of the way I come across about my sexuality. I don't flaunt it, don't hide it, and most certainly don't hate it... so therefore they know that insults, abuse etc == NON-EFFECTIVE to me.

well i have to say the worest word i been called was a faggot hat the word but the kid who called me it sorter ended up wores off my frends chiped in and sorted him out for me and the wsupported me thow it it was gay basshing that happend that night but itr all good hehe

I got called faggot and the like before i came out and i'm used to being called things so it didn't matter (also the word faggot just about has lost meaning since people use it so much). The worst i was called was along the lines of a trend follower (this friend went into a rant and i only paid attention to part of it before blocking him), i know its not the worst but when it came from someone i didn't expect it to it kind of did.

lol honestly, i find that kind of funny. i mean if someone said that to me i would probably laugh just because of the cleverness in it, but at the same time i can also see someone saying that in a really negative and jackass way.

to be honest, i've never had an insult that's hurt me the most. Since everyone in my school tore open the closet dore and dragged me out kicking and screaming, it's been a none stop ride of pain and humiliation.
Every day, whether in lessons, breaks or walking home, i always have insults like fag, homo, fudgepacker and shit stabber thrown at me.
What i mean, is there isn't such a thing as a worst insult, they all stab your self esteem and feelings the same. ahoy-hoy!

I'm not gonna like get into it and that but I have had so many homophobic insults and remarks that they really don't mean anything anymore. I've been told that god hates gays, being gay is wrong, people who are gay will go to hell and have no friends, what you're doing is wrong, it's filthy and dirty, gays will go to hell because god doesn't love them. I tend to hear abuse pretty much everyday, It seems to be a losing battle. I try not to take notice of things though, I take everything to heart and just the smallest remark is enough to upset me I guess. At school I don't go a day without someone saying something or doing something. I'm used to it by now, You can only defend yourself so many times I guess.

People insulting me are more often than not, made to feel quite stupid by the time I am done.. I never say much to them, usually laughing and telling them that they need new material because the only thing about them that is funny is the fact that they think they are funny.
When people pck on those I care about.... my reaction varies.. but it hurts a lot more than when they pick on me (doesn't happen often that people pick on me... they tend to be afraid of anyone they have to look up to try to stare down) If someone is physically abusing someone I care about.. I will do something about it.. usually only to the point of throwing the abuser off... but I've been known to do worse ..
The worst thing someone has ever said to me... and the only insult that has ever really hurt.. was shortly after I found out I had a son.. we were in the mall, and someone said something to the effect of "What? Pretty boy not young enough for you anymore?"
I wanted to do something.. lash out, cry.. both seemed like good ideas.. but instead, I kept walking, and ignored them as best I could... It took a bit of explaining to my son what they were talking about when we got home.. but it didn't affect him at all. No those pants don't make your butt look big. It doesn't need any help looking big.
