Ok I don't know if people heard about it but I was at the 21st world scout Jamboree. We had loads of camps that happened before the Jamboree and there was this one boy that i liked but tried not to show it as most people didin't like him but once i got to know him a bit i felt he was more misunderstood. Anyway he came out as being bi on the Jamboree and i have been in the closet probably knowing i was gay but not 100% accepting it but as he came out as bi i felt a bit closer to him as someone i could try to talk to so i tried to know him better and be around him. By the end of the Jamboree it was the closing ceremony and he was infront of me and it was raining and then he kind of sat on my lap which i was fine with and rather enjoyed so i started wrapping my arms round him and he didn't complain untill at one point he asked if i was gay or cold and being the coward i was i said cold then he said good cos he has a girlfriend so i backed off but it has me wondering whether he was testing me?

I wouldn't say he was, from readin your post. To be fair, he never actually said he was bi and single, just bi. And as we know, those bi people like the gurlies aswell. I wouldnt read too much into it if I was you, because at the end of the day, you said you were cold to avoid the truth, yes? Then why would that mean he was being 100% truthful? He may have just said that because you said you were cold, and he didnt want to seem like he was coming onto a straight guy? See where I'm coming from?

well he said he had a girlfriend before he came out as bi but on the kinsey scale i would say he is 2 and a half / 3 and well i want him to know but i could say it to him while i was there as i don't want to come out to everybody and i don't know what his reaction might be so i am trying to get his msn to talk to him then he can dodge me if he wants or not

Uninterested guys don't sit in laps. Occam's razor, the simplest answer is almost always the right one. He probably felt you drawing closer in your relationship, and wasn't sure if you were interested (or possibly even if he was). About half the bi guys in high school come to decide their preference is entirely for men. I'm not saying 'break up the happy couple', but if he wants to be closer to you (and he does), then they may not be such a happy couple anyway -- at least, he may have newer ideas. Send him an email, saying that actually you were interested in him and saying that if he wanted to catch a movie some time, that would be fun, otherwise no pressure. You should at least open yourself up to him as far as he did to you. Trust me, this is the only way good things ever get discovered.
