How many of y'alls parents know that you are members of this site? Mine don't, and might flip out if they find out...For those of you who are fortunate, what made your parents allow you to be on this site?

Even if I needed parenal consent mine are very open minded. When I was younger and still living with them.. My parents told me that I could look at anythign I want, and if I brought somebody home, to just not try to hide it from them.. Yea, that made for some awkward discussions which led me tonot look at much online... and not bring people over very often... Kinda funny how that worked... because a friend of mine got the opposite talk.. you know the one. "Porn is bad! RAWR! Keep your hands to yourself in this house!! Grrr!" and well... They never caught him at it, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen... lol...
I guess I'm just saying that, if you don't want your kids to do something, encourage it.. because nowadays it seems like rebelion is in!
Some are probably asking what this has to do with the topic.. well, if some parents knew about the site, they would object very strongly, which would cause the site to become that much more desirable to their son/daughter.
No those pants don't make your butt look big. It doesn't need any help looking big.

Neither of my parents know I'm a member of this site. I do think my parents wouldn't be too happy because of the aspects of anyone being able to view you're profile and contact you but I mean, I am extremely cautious on here and I try and be as safe as possible so I guess it's ok

My mom knows..but told her its not porn or anything. Its just a site for closet teens, open teens, the bi-curious, fire fighters and catholic priests.
She has nothing to worry about

erm, mine wouldn't freak as such, but my dad got very upset when I'd marked myself as gay on facebook & myspace and went off about doing stuff on "his internet connection". So no, to cut a long story short he wouldn't be pleased at all. My mum would just tell dad, she's funny like that.

hell no, if i told her, my mom would freak 'what are you doing giving out your personal information, do you know that-blah blah blah'
she wouldn't listen to -it's for teens ma......yes i know, there are gross petifiles who go on, but it's not like i'm going to go out and meet these people (yet....)

Since I live with my homophobic Dad.
He'd KILL me!
He'd say I was using his internet connection for evil or something.

And, the fact he believes anything on the internet that has your name on it. Means you can get stalked and what-not.

 Wow. My dad knows. It was an accident and he told my mum (she was like ok, he's my son). He kicked me out of home... It took about a thousand lies for him to let me back in home again (actually, he said he'd sell his cars, houses and actions in companies and farms and he'd leave because he was too disappointed).
He hates everything related to gays.
I hate him.
I'm planning to move away and my mum's helping me. Maybe to California or to Florida...

Im one of the lucky few that my parents took it well and dont mind me being bi.They dont probe my buissnes for anything sorry for the people that have the disgruntle parents.All i can say is top them in life and what you do.Im going to the navy to show my real father im worth more than him.(im with my stepfather not real father)Also my moms bi so it works out.

when i got the internet in my room my step dad told me not to look at naked women i have kept that promise to this day lol
but to the point, my mum knows im gay (well she told me i wz goin thro a phase  ) if she knew i wz on this site she wud freak, if she knew about the gaydar account she would go mental

My Mum would be fine, my Dad may freak, but only because of the gay aspect. My parents know I'm on myspace etc because it's how they get news of my dads cousin - through me. They know I would never post anything like address - i'm not stupid.

My parents only found out about this site after I came out. They couldn't care less what I'm on really, as long as it is nothing like...crazy...
I actually showed dad some of the stuff on the site and gave him some of the links to other sites just so he could try and deal with me being gay better. Never worked out how I thought it would...he ended up using things against me...but that's not the point...anyways, they know

I was rather clever and just told my mam that I had been going on this site for gays, as i came out to her a short while ago, and I said how much it helped and how ncie it is to talk normally and not have to be all... straight
she just laughed, and sometimes we sit together going through some profiles saying who we think is cute and not
