Well if your 100% sure your gay then parents are the way to go. But maybe if your not confident enough for that yet you should tell your best mate? That may give you the confidence boost you need to tell your parents. Good Luck

Well, maybe coming out to your friends might be easier than your parents. The first time I came out was to my best friend. Trust me, it may seem like they might never understand, but I think if they are your real friends, they will accept who you really are. Then when you are comfortable with letting another person into the part of your life that you have kept inside for so long, surely it will be easier telling your parents. Good luck !

if they're even close to being a good parent they will continue to love and support you fully. i was absolutely shit scared of telling my dad but when i did, he was just like ... oh ok.

My mum doesnt like gays so its hard for me to tell my mum. Ive told my brother hes not bothered he still likes me he just said ok bro I still love you as a brother and he still supports me

Well believe me when I say that coming out may seem like the most difficult thing in the world, but once you do it I swear you'll start feeling all emotional internally and feel a huge weight lifted off of you. Believe me walking around school or home, and pretending to say something that your not is hard, and its a burden. It keeps weighing you down and weighing you down till you crack. Believe when I say that parents are harder to come out to parents because , you'll feel like your disappointing them but you also have to remember that your their son and they raised you and loved you unconditionally and I bet you more than anything that they will. I dont know whats its like in your shoes, situations, etc. but I cant promise the outcome only the best possible possible reaction. But I think its better to come out to family than friends only for the sole reason that you get off alot more weight and coming out to your friends will come off easier. I dont know famiy dynamics, history, etc. I wish you the best. You message me anytime if you need help. =)
