OMG, yes! I saw it on Friday when it had came out. I was literally counting down the days until it had came out. I loved the original, and this one was outstanding. ^_^

I loved Nikki Blonski's performance, it was wonderful. She did a good job of filling Ricky Lakes shoes.
Here's something really weird... I HATE Zac Efron, but I loved his performance... and I caught myself checking him out a lot while he was on screen. xD

You are so not alone. Haha. I actually like him, not because of looks. Then again, I do like him because of his looks...so it all evens out.
I saw the movie Saturday and I loved it. I bought the soundtrack right afterwards. My favorite song on the soundtrack would have to be Miss Baltimore Crabs. Michelle Pfeiffier has a great voice and attitude for the song.

It was pretty darn funny. I loved Amanda Bynes, she is great. I just laughed at everything she did. And Zac Efron was weirdly attractive in this movie even though I don't have the slightest interest in him. But oh my gosh it was so awesome to see john travolta in that fat suit. That was worth seeing the movie in itself.
The songs are so bloody catchy too.

I refuse to see it. I heard that it was horrible, and I really don't like Zac efron, or Amanda Bynes, or John Travolta in that role. RIP Divine. I'm going to be Angel in RENT someday! RENT is Love! Musical Theatre is magical!

RIP Divine. ppl said pirates3 was horrible, yet I still liked it, and the golden compas, tho that's from reading the book. Anyway, I thought Michelle Pfeiffer was amazing in this too, and Tracy's dad.
Wow, if they could make Zac Efron hot in Hairspray, I wish that style of clothes and hair was back! "Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law. The commandments, 'You shall not commit adultery, You shall not kill, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,' and any other commandment, are SUMMED up in THIS sentence, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the FULFILLING of the law." RSV Romans 13:8-10

OMG i loved this movie, michel fifer had such a bitchy character and pulled it off great. zac effron isin't as hot as in other movies i've seen, hate his litol curl of hair but my fave song is, hands down, miss baltimore crabs. soo funny and queen latifa did such a better job then the woman in the original, soo much more attitude and heart warming acting, the song I know where i've been made me tear up it was soo touching
