I only came out three weeks ago which is pretty crap seeing as im 23! and its only been to my best mate who was pretty cool about it! it came as a complete shock to him though! he had no idea at all! he he! i think i must be too butch for my own good!

My first response from one of my best friends was "Jason, stop joking, i wanna know whats wrong....." i was like cos she didnt believe me. I also got the usual "i will always be there for you no matter what" from one of my other friends, who was talking like i had just been diagnosed with some deadly disease. And i accidentally let it slip to this guy a few days ago, who is really homophobic but im still really close to him, who told me "you better be joking, cos i aint having a gay mate" which got me annoyed. Good job ive left school now though, as otherwise the whole school would know by now. Im not ready to come out to everyone yet, ive planned that im doing that next year sometime, when all the annoying people have dropped out of school.

Meh, i have told 3 girls and 4 guys so far (i dont count one of the girls because i wish i hadnt)
First time i told somone was on MSN to the chick i wish i hadn't... She was drunk and i just hell needed to tell somone, i figured she might not remember but unfourtunately she did. Her reaction was along the lines of an insanely misspelled "omg i have always wanted a gay friend, this is going to be so cool im going to take you shopping." My reply was a flat... thanks for being so cool about it but... err, no.
Second was msn to one of my best frends (a girl) who was fine about it, she doesnt even seem to aknowlage it (but shes way more comfortable around me now coz - everyone used to think i liked her) her reaction was something like "ok but now i get to buy you a pair of leather pants like Mr Marcovik" (an art teacher at our school)
Third, msn to another good freind (guy) who thought i was fucking about because i am never serious about anything... After the week it took to sink in he was like "why did you even tell me, its not like it changes anything." untill about a month later he really started to get into it and now all we talk about wen i ova his house is about being gay... Im not sure what that makes him but anyway...
Fourth was somone i didnt even tell the words... I couldnt id known him since primary school. so the first three all told him in his house... apparently he nearly fainted, but now he makes private jokes about it to me and hes been cool about it. since then he actually tol me hes Bi
The fifth time i was drunk and told somone i really shouldnt have and had no intention of at the time, but from what i was saying he worked it out and said something like "thats cool man, i respect that" and about ten minutes later went into detail about all the guys hed allready made out with even though hes str8
i forget wen the the other 2 were but one was via SMS to a girl sitting in fron of me on a bus (to this day i dont think id be able to actually say the words) and another one was to a guy whos a really new friend... he tried to act all left-wing equal rights about everything before i told him so i thought hed be ok with it but it was the hardest of all... i told him and he just said he had to go, the next day he said "you can stop pretending now, this is getting old" when i finally convinced him i really was he went all wierd for a month and told all these people (including his parents) who i didnt want to know, (hes still trying to force me to tell my dad) but then he just went back to normal and didnt speak about it again, whenever it gets mentioned now or the context of a conversation allows hell shove it in my face and makes it feel more like an insult than any form of aknowlagement...
Anyway thats one mother of a post... im sure i could have shortened it but its 11pm and im too tired for stuff like that Logan

The funniest was when i told one of my friends at school, he was like "As if, i sooo don;t beleive you", then after me and some other friends tried to convince him he asked me for proof, so i got out my phone and showed all the gay porn i had saved on it, he went pale,lol. We are even closer friends now and hes like a brother to me.
Another one was when i told the first person, this was on msn, and his first reaction was "eeeeeeeeeew!' but then he was all like "Cool..." and he started asking me all these questions... <-->People think that I've stopped lying... I've just gotten better at it.<-->

Most of my friends have come up with the classic laid back reaction of "cool, so wanna go get food?", although a couple have used the "You better not be lying to me or I'm gonna kick your ass". when i came out i got several responces the ones im listting are form closest frineds or the most out ragees

Oh my. Just thinking about the way my friends reacted...I smiles at de thoughts.
1.) Holly. She basically smiled at me and said, "Im bi too! Kewl." 2.) Jenn. My first girl crush (sort of). She smiled and didn't really say anything out of the ordinary. We're basically best friends now and she enjoys to fondle my breasts now that "Nicole is bi so she like it anyway." 3.) Sophie. Oh Sophie. She basically decided I was without me actually saying so. "All people are bi, they just don't know it until Sophie comes." A HORRIBLE flirt. This hot chick is my pseudo-girlfriend. Not really my girlfriend but she is HOT so I pretend she is. A lot. 4.) Zach. I didn't sit him down and tell him I was bi (I don't think I EVER have with anyone). He sort of picked up from conversations. He is a crazy emo bi boy therefore he has agreed to kiss a boy in front of me if I return the favor with a girl. Oh, having other bi friends. 5.) Julien. That was a LONG week. I actually came out to him in a conversation at a bus stop downtown around 12 after we got off from work. I threw it in there to try to draw him into telling me. Didn't work. I got pissed. He didn't know why. I confronted him on msn a week later and made him tell me. Then he told me he considered me a sister and had decided to tell me anyway but was waiting for the right time. Way to make me feel crappy.

I finally managed to pluck up enough courage to tell ma best friend steph while we were on a school trip to france. I have lots of guy mates who are a little imature and so im too scared to tell them just yet. Anyway me and steph had managed to sneak away into my hotel room because she had said she needed to ask me something. I started to panic especially when she grabed my hands. 'I need to ask you something' she said. I think i mumbled Oh Shit or something. Sure enough she confessed to having a crush on me and procieded in asking me out and all that crap. I said well actualy theres something i need to confess to you. She went all happy on me (thinking i was gonna say i liked her!). IM GAY!!
(She promptley responded with) ..................Well Foook Me!!!!.........(then)...hmmmmmm..................(then burst into floods of tiers muttering swear words too herself!!)
omg i didnt know what to do for the best. I think i just sat there for a bit. To my horror three of our guy friends appeared at the door. We had to make up this shitty excuse that stephs dad had just phoned and told her that her cat had been splatted in the road!!!! and thats why she was crying.
We both look back on that night and giggle. It was pritty funny but its put me off coming out for a while.
