I think it all probebly depends on how you were feeling about it. if you think that there was a deffinate spark there, then it's intamate. But if you were doing it because you were really horny and wanted something to get of on, then i'd say it's probably live porn.

I don't quite know what to call it, someone asked me once and I told him off, it just seems too weird IMO, I rather be with someone, not on someones PC screen, besides, who knows if the data centers that process this stuff can actually see it.
It just makes me feel way to exposed (for lack of a better term) and I'm just not that type of person.

No thanks! It sounds sort of porn to me as well. I have never tried that and i certainly don't intend to. I just don't see where this feeling of intimacy lies. As for your mother's feelings, I think that as any mother she too has come to terms with the fact that her son is a teenager who thrives on wanking! I really enjoy sharing my self on webcam - but only after i've chatted for a while with the guy or girl. becuase if not, its like porn. if i wanted to see just a cock or just some boobs i would watch porn. Showing my self on webcam requires a certain (small) amount of trust between two people so thats why i dont just so anybody.

I really feel that it is a waste of your time. I am not going to lie, before I was out I was a horny son-of-a-bitch. I couldn't stop dreaming about the day that I would get a webcam. If I had a cam I could see so many other guys and it would just be amazing. There would be no emotionaly attachment or anything. This is the ideal world my mind had come up with for me.
Wrong.
Once I finally came out and started dating people within an hour of me I realized that all that net stuff is far overrated. The real thing is SO much better and it is just a waste of time to expose yourself over the internet for mere gratification.
Besides that there is the emotional attachment that, unfortunately enough happens. It is almost unavoidable. Even if you KNOW you won't get emotionally attached you still run the risk of the other person getting attached to you. This can lead to some very unhappy people in the long run.
In my honest opinion cam2cam is merely a sexual tension release and once you have the real thing you realize that it is nothing like an intimate moment.

I must admit that I've done it more then once, but I've never been walked in on. I don't know what I would do if that happened, but I certainly don't think that it's anything to be ashamed of. Whatever the reason for doing it it must have been because you enjoyed it so no big deal.

I actually love to do it as often as possible, but yeah it seems most people are hesitant, if not outright disgusted by the idea. Strangely, i only feel comfortable doing it with people i Dont know =S
