Sure it's nice to say that age doesn't matter and as long as you both are happy, but let's get real for a moment shall we? There is a difference from a 23 year old and a 27 year old going out as to a 13 and a 17 year old going out. Maturaity aside, the fact that the person is so young. Age gaps mean less when it involves people who are both like 18 or 20+.

but what do kids really know about love? What does a 13yo understand about life n living? Not much. Which why breaks up are worst then apocolypse. I look at my brother and his gf and think gee that sholdn't be they are both the same age but still too young to know what it is to be inlove and have a real relationship. The law is set up so that kids be guided through youth and when reach 18 are able to make the mature and right desicians.
anyways the point i am trying to make is a certain level matuirty and experince is needed and a 13yo simply wouldn't have it maybe around 16/17 its more apparent. But still you dont wanna doo everything too early in life cause then you jsut get too old too fast!

I don't see a problem, as long as you both are happy. Plus, You both are mature about your relationship, I see no reason to worry or why other's should worry. But, if you guys arn't ready, either one of you for a relationship, then maybe this is a bad idea that should be put on ice untill later Age gaps are only a problem if you let them be one. I have dated a 20 year old when I was only 15. Me and them had a good relationship that only ended because of the laws in my state. So the main thing to look for when you have a gap relationship is the laws. But, hey, that's just what I think.

Does it matter if a person is too young? I'm the youngest here that you could ever find, I'm only 12. Some people say that I look like 14-15, older than 12 and also that I act around 14-15 years old too. I just wanna let u guys and girls know that younger people could be the one for you if you let them try...
Anyways if I cut my age in half and add 7 will be 13... should it be older or younger? Or is it just the right age for your partner to be?

What??? 13-14 is about the right age to start??? Some people have hardly even started properly developing into an adult at that age!! I hardly even knew what sex and sexuality was at that age, and I sure wouldn't have understood it of someone, well, you know. Use your imagination!

ok im fighting with myself on this one i think that the gap is to big(but after hes 18 its fine) but at the same time im all bout true love and that stuff the lie-ing i hate liers but in high school its a bit of a problem then the sex thing well im not in a fight on that one, im not virgin but theres not a day goes by that i wish i hadent done "it" so on that one tell him to wait a year(er 2) and see if he still wants too
