Well, right now it's The Black Keys. They're hella awesome, I love how they mix blues and rock, there aren't many people who have their kind of sound, (even though there's just one guy one drums and one on the guitar,(just like the White stripes, eww.)) Anyways, thei sooo much better than that emo shit and the stupid ho's on Mtv, you can't believe how many of their songs have been used in movies and commercials. Everyone should definitely look at this band

Favourite artists and bands eh? Well, for starters, I like just about everything except for R n B, rap, hard house and all that. I'll listen to dance in a club, but don't have much at home.
Favourite genres of music would be: soft/melodic rock, hard rock, progressive rock, power metal, industrial metal, heavy metal, opera and classical. Also enjoy some black/death metal, but I need to be in the right mood.
Favourite artists would be (in no particular order): Alice Cooper [a song for every occasion, a tune for every mood, a lyric for every emotion], Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica [old stuff], Pink Floyd, Michael Bublé, Tool [they gave me this nickname], AC/DC, Rammstein, Iron Maiden, Blind Guardian, Antonio Vivaldi, Giuseppe Verdi, Tyketto [they wrote one of the most powerful love songs I've ever heard], Dire Straits, Mozart, Beethoven, Steve Vai and Dream Theater [they wrote another love ballad that's right up there with the Tyketto song that also always moves me to tears]. And of course, I adore Queen.

I love music, im always listenin to my iPod. w.o. music I really wouldnt make it through the day. I have so many fav. artists though, heres a few: Nelly Furtado (saw her in concert 3 yrs ago), Shakira, Don Omar, Juanes, Rakim y Ken-y, Wisin y Yandel, Kanye West, Akon, Beyonce, JayZ, Josh Groban, Michael Buble.
As u can tell I listen to a wide range of music.. but i mostly listen to Reggeaton, pop, nd r&b.

I don't know if I could come up with a favourite cos there's so many bands/artists that I like and respect.
I'll list a few but then i'll get this agony because i'll wanna keep on writing about all the artists/bands I like but I don't have time, so i'm sorry to all the bands/artists I haven't mentioned, I still love ya!

Eminem - his talent is undeniable, he's controversial yes, but he does have a gift with words. I'm not a huge fan of gangsta rap and while I don't class him as gangsta rap, there are some who would.
Run DMC - I respected the blend of rock and hip-hop blended in, my favourite tunes by them are Rock Box, Walk This Way (with the fantastic Aerosmith), It's Like That, Can U Rock It Like This and It's Tricky.
Evanescense - What can I say? Amy Lee's voice is haunting and mesmerizing. I love it, every one who mentions her always speaks of 'that voice'. Her lyrics are heartfelt, the band's style blows my mind and i'll love 'em no matter what. Beautiful.
James Blunt - I can't believe I didn't like this guy to begin with. I love his music, he's uber-talented and the song 'beautiful' is what it is... Beautiful.
James Bown - The Godfather, a legend... may he rest in peace. His funky tunes always had me up and whenever I feel blue I put on the tune (I got you) I feel good and it lifts me up. I wish I could move like he did. What a dancer... what an artist... what a man.
Papa Roach - I remember my mate was talking about this band after a conversation about Linkin Park, the name kinda rang a bell but for the most part I'd never really heard much about them, I just guessed they were a rock band. I was open to anything back at that tender age of 13 and my Mum was part of this Video/DVD/Music club called Brittania so I got on the phone and ordered a Papa Roach CD, along with a Wheatus one and a Limp Bizkit one. I put it on, the first song was Infest and I was hooked from beginning to end. Nu-metal had found its way into my life...
Linkin Park - There was a time when Linkin Park was my favourite band and I was OBSESSED with them. I loved their unique style, I loved the look of the band, I loved their sound, I loved all their songs and the album Hybrid Theory was sacred to me. Linkin Park will always have a place in my heart, though I wasn't as big a fan of the album Meteora as I was with Hybrid Theory. Still, in my mind Linkin Park can do nothing wrong. I could never pick a favourite song from the album Hybrid Theory cos damn near every track was a fave.
Limp Bizkit - The rap/rock thing enthralled me as a blossoming teen. Rock music was now in my life and there to stay but rap-metal or nu-metal - whatever u wanna call it was my favourite genre at the time, it was the burst of flavours to come. Limp Bizkit were Gods to me. I miss that period of time and i get nostalgic when i think of them. I'll never forget when "Rollin'" hit the charts at number 1. It was a moment to remember.
Salt 'N' Pepa - The all girl hip hop group with an edge. They didn't use sexiness as a selling point, they used self-respect, ultra hip beats and funky moves to prove that anything a man can do a woman can to do and maybe even better. I love this group. They paved the way for the next genre explosion in my head... old skool hip-hop. The only style of hip-hop I can really say that I love.
Justin "Trousersnake" Timberlake - Hoooooot!!!!! multi-talented, a great singer, an awesome dancer and someone with this natural charisma that draws u to him like a magnet. I could go on but Justin, there's a clan of people out there that can show u what I mean. I'm just sorry I used to think of u as nothing but one fifth of a cheesy boy band 
Michael Jackson - KING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've left so many out - Ben E King, Simon & Garfunkel... so many others. I'm sowwie but my mind's going into overdrive! Music rules!  where would I be without it.

There are too many favourite bands to mention them all ~~
But there are a few which stand out.
KoRn - great music, listening to it helped me get through alot of shit when i was like 13-14.
Children of Bodom - great death metal ;o ike the melodic component
Blind Guardian - simply epic
Queen - first band i listened (and danced!) to, thx to my parents ^^
Rage against the Machine - Fueled my interest in politics (sort of)
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - no particular reason ;o
Could go on forever but i guess this is enough =)
