1) Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, and air conditioning.
2) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.
3) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans.
4) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.
5) Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Britney Spears' 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.
6) Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children.
7) Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.
Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America.
9) Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.
10) Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.
(one of the saddest parts about our society is that these arguments, before the humorous common sense, are the real reasons why people can't accept gay marriages.)

Kid I'm glad to see that your taking an active role and standing up for what you believe.
However, your entire post is extremely controversial. Let me go through your list and tell you why all your statements are WRONG.
1. YOU PUT (WRONG): Being gay is not natural.
TRUTH: Being gay is VERY natural. Homosexuality has stretched its limits for thousands and thousands of years. Have you ever heard of the Roman Empire? The Romans engaged in homosexual activities as part of normal life and culture. In recent studies animals (meaning apes, dogs, rabbits, ect.) have been know to participate in homosexual activities for no aparent reason.
2. YOU PUT: (WRONG) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay.
TRUTH: Gay marriage will NOT encourage people to be gay. People choose to be gay because thats what they feel in their hearts, and that is only a small percentage of people. MOST people are NOT gay...and are disgusted by the thought of someone being gay, meaning that they will NOT be encouraged to be gay.
3. YOU PUT: (WRONG) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society
TRUTH: Kid you've been alive for 13 years. How can you compensate for human race that has strived for millions of years. GiVE ME A BREAK! I ask....for all the years that people have taken roles in homosexual activities, has it changed society in any way? NO.

TRUTH: MUST I EVEN COMMENT ON THIS STATEMENT? AGAIN GIVE ME A BREAK!

TRUTH: I have to say you do have a point. But still you have to understand there are 6 BILLION people on this planet. The majority are not gay. Marriage bonds two people together in love. The meaningfulness in marriage will never change, be it between two women, two men, or a man and a woman.
6. YOU PUT: (WRONG) Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children
TRUTH: This is a really and truly horrid statement. For one, many scientists are already worried about overpopulation. Kid have you ever been to china. You don't find seperate homes like you do in the US. Their homes are compacted. They even have laws preventing women from having more than 2 kids. Are you even thinking rationally?
7. YOU PUT: (OMG SO WRONG) Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.
TRUTH: I don't know how many people are infuriated by this comment. I'm sure many people weren't to happy. In recent studies i.e.(National Geographic) the majority of homosexual people come from STRAIGHT parents. The study also showed that gay couples would be lease likley to raise a gay child, and I firmly agree with that because if you think about it gay couples would be open to all suggestion with their child.
8. YOU PUT: (I'M ARGUING WITH A 13 YEAR OLD OMG) That's why we have only one religion in America.
TRUTH: READ THE DECLERATION OF INDEPENDENCE, the CONSTITUTION, and THE BILL OF RIGHTS. THANK YOU.

TRUTH: I just realized your kid and have no earthly idea what your talking about. Why don't you go try telling that statement to the single women and men of our country. They'll give you a run for your money.

Its often said that satire is the most intelligent form of wit, and if that is so, its obvious those who opposed the comments made by the 13 yr old kid are not so intelligent. It was blatantly obvious that sarcasm was the main tool being used here, to give an intelligent and widely scoped answer to a question (that as the big month grows nearer) is burning at the core of our society. What is especially concerning is that the comments made against the satire were made by senior members of this site. The ones we look to, to defend homosexual rights, and bring our debates and issues forward into the wider world. You people saw a few keywords, like 'gay' and 'wrong', and attempted to tear apart the very argument that gave you a voice on this issue. For that, you are no better than the Stephen Greens of the world, who pick up on small things and take instant offence without looking at the wider picture. At first I wasn't going to comment on the statements made by people after i made my first post....I didn't want to point out i had been defeated. I know realize how stupid I was to get infuriated of it. Finally today, I read through the 13 year old kids post and saw that last statement. Please read this for yourself.
