Who else plays? I can't be the only one!

I've done some 2nd edition stuff, right now I'm in a 3.5 game, playing a warlock (Jill, my only angsty character ever)
Every religion is true one way or another. It is true when understood metaphorically. But when it gets stuck in its own metaphors, interpreting them as facts, then you are in trouble.

oh yay i feel so special im the first to reply. Yea i play some DnD im currently the DM of a party. Anoying the campaign im doing is made for a steritipical party and my group is far from it. That mithral plait mail is useless as no one is preficient with it. Other than that yay for warlocks. I played a half fey warlock once (eat charm person at will and 20 charisma)

I play D&D... my favorite character was actually this female bard I made... It was just us guys around the table, and they wanted a girl in the party... they debated it for awhile, then looked at me as I was rolling up the stats for it.. I had already decided I would do it, but when they looked at me, I said. "What?" the DM looked at me and said. "Well you are the one who looks good in a dress." We all burst out laughing.. Good times....

I miss playing that character.. played her for 2 years, lvl 20 bard, lvl 5 warchanter... Fun character to have around.

I'm new to the game, myself. I barely know how to play and there's nobody around to teach me and worse is that there's nobody I know that plays. And I can never learn how to do things through reading alone.

It's funny. My friends say D&D is too nerdy for them, but sometimes we randomly break into informal LARPing. It's more a session of Live-Action Godmoding than anything else.

I actually played my first game of D&D like three days ago with my cousin, and it was soo much fun. i figured with all the nerdy rap about it, that it would be lame, but it was really cool, screw what people say, im a nerd/dork and i embrace it lol
