No, I wouldn't, because sex is (to me) somewhat ... sacred, for lack of a better word. I wouldn't feel right unless I knew he was going to be there for me.

I think that paying for sex is wrong. Sex is about two people who love each other. If you pay a guy money (especially 200 pounds - wow) to have sex with you, it just isn't the same. Even if I was totally into him, it wouldn't be fun if I knew he wasn't into me and was only in it for the money. Sex isn't a business, it's an expression of love.

I thought maybe I would do that at one point in my life but you realize, it's so not worth it because at the end of the day, you'd feel bad and dirty and have all these sins,,, and you'd want more if it was that good.

if you havent had sex for a long time and your old and unattractive, things change.
at this point in my life though, i wouldnt pay for it, primarily because i really dont find it hard to find gay guys and have a sexual relationship with them

Well he's not cheap O_O.
I've never been a fan of prostitution. Sex is supposed to bring people together. There are other poeple who would probably make my trousers swell and they'd be around for the long run. I'd rather not do somethig I migt end up regreting
And besides, the whole idea of paying for sex seem so...well, desperate

I did it once, but the other way round - I got paid. I was in a really desperate situation, no where to go and no one to turn to and that was the only way to get out of it - the cash I mean. He was well minging too. I felt really dirty afterwards, and showered for like hours afterwards. I won't do it again either

People's sexual morals usually restrict them on this question. Sexual morals from the same shephard that bought you sexual restriction, go figure.
You've got to work for money in this world, if he works to get some money from you by having sex with you then I see no problem. As long as protection is used and confidentiality prevails. However, this is a hypothetical. In real life, his morals would probably make him feel guilty afterward; but heck, you got the shag, it's not your problem... unless he claims you facilitated prostitution from him... then it's your problem 
Advice, err on the side of caution, keep the money in the wallet. Buy him a 200 quid present maybe
You should always respect one's religious beliefs, however imaginary friends, delusional behaviour, a belief in a two thousand year old folk-lore should be treated by a professional.

I've never half much confidence in the human condition, but even I think humans have more sexual restraint than rabbits. Yes it is in our biological nature to procreate, but it is also in our nature to have monogamous relationships, pick a partner and stick with them, this is also found in many species of mammals. Human society builds on this and influences our nature enough that multiple casual sexual partners is faux pas. Homosexuals in my opinion should have exactly the same moral protocols as hetrosexuals, if we want to be treated equally then we must follow equal rules.
Anyway. I think the main question of the post was overlooked for the details. If I could have no strings one-off sex with what I believed to be the most attractive but straight guy in my life who I reliably knew was STI clean for not-extortionate amount of money, would I? No.
I can't claim to be morally flawless, but believe there must be some emotional attachment for (good) sex. Paying for sex is not something I want to be able to tick off as something I've done in life. Good sex for me is dependent on the other person enjoying themselves as much as I am, however in prostitution that is simply not happening.
As a point I like very much how this thread seems to oscillate in patterns, initially people were generally in favour of the concept, then they were against it, no it seems a mix 60/40 in against.

I don't think I could ever pay someone for sex. And paying a hetero to do it just seems really wrong. I think it would be more like rape for him than a pleasurable experiance. Of course, I can see someone going to a 'gay whore' but a lover would give a much more pleasurable experience to me.

I wouldn't. Not because of any moral issue or whatnot, but simply because I don't know the person and he doesn't want to know me. In my opinion, "love" is simply mutual understanding on multiple levels (emotionally, intellectually, physically etc.) The more levels, the better the relationship. Friendships usually have a few levels and so on.
Usually when I see someone I want to know on a physical level, desire to know that person in other ways steps in. Therefore I know I would end up hurt from a situation like that. (He would leave, go his separate way: He had no shared desire to understand you in the first place).

No way in hell would I do that. Typical hot is pretty much disregarded by me. Personality plays a larger role in who I wanna fuck. Not saying attractiveness doesn't play some, but I wouldn't just fuck someone. I don't mind not having sex.

I'd turn it down. To me I can register three types of happinesses: Pleasure, Happiness, and Bliss. Pleasure's the sugar rush of happinesses where you feel good and then you kinda crash. Happiness is something you work for and wears off after a while. And Bliss is basically religiously educed. Right here we're obviously talking about the pleasure bit, so if I really want a sort of sugar rush thing I'd use the money to go buy a ton of chocolate or some material possession (whatever the amount of money happens to be). On the next rung of the ladder we have happiness, which would be as far as I see it having a committed partner who's not only free but lasts longer! Besides, the guy who's trying to sell a ride is bound to be a derogatory term on the inside, so meh. <_<
