at jambore (dont ask if u dont know alredy) we were playing truth or dare and my truth was who i liked and i said it was one of the other guys at the camp called nick (all to staiht for me though) so i ges it was i kind of forced out but its not as if i was going to lie

I first thought that i could be a lesbian when i was 13yrs and confided in my best friend who just happened to be homophobic. It took 15 months of bullying from her before i chose to completely deny who i was i went out with a couple of lads etc. before deciding that i was bi. When i realised the true me i didnt say anything because of the past bullying 15 months later i came out to my senior youth worker and he gave me some advice line numbers etc to help me and give me the confidence to come out properly. My family are the only people who dont know that im bi. Im going to try and wait until after my exams before i tell them but i have a dilema about how to tell them because they are old-fasioned catholics, they are homophobic. So i have one more hurdle to get past but one isnt much.

It is funny cause I have always known I was gay, and I just kinda assumed other people did too, I never really thought about coming out, cause to me it didn’t matter what people thought about it. I am a very private person, and I don’t really talk about things like relationships with anyone but the person I am involved with, so I can see how someone would just not see that I was gay. I ‘came out’ when I was 13, coming out as in I actually told someone straight out that I was gay. One day my sister asked me why I didn’t have a boyfriend, and I was kinda shocked that she would ask something like that, because I was gay and I thought she should have known her being my sister and all, and then it just kinda clicked that maybe it wasn’t as obvious to everyone else as it was to me, so I told her, and I was amazed because she had no idea. It is funny how things work out sometimes.

I wrote it in one of my papers that needed to be handed in to my psychology treacher, because the topic was about sexual orientation, and I really had nothing else to write..lol..He always writes little rhetorical questions next to things that we write, and when he handed back our papers, he wrote that I have a mature attitude, and he asked when did i come out, and how people reacted... The thing is...I'm not out....lol...

I first came out to my (male) friend because we were at a gig and it was us and 15 girls (!) that we were with and he tried to set me up with at least 3 of them so when they all went off to the loo as girls do, i told him. It took like a minuite to get him to understand me tho, a combination of the loud music and his confusion. After that, we became best mates, so it all went well The age of the 7" is nigh! Vinyl is still alive!

I came out to one of my very best friends first, and she was shocked because I had been dating her best friends (a girl) for a while, and just generally shocked too, but she's been great about it... I quickly told other close friends, but some of those close friends felt the need to blab to not-close friends and some of those not-close friends told my entire class. I guess it's not that big of a deal since I've already graduated, but I haven't told my mom and dad yet and it'd be nice to tell them as the primary source... I'm just not ready to yet though. No one I've come out to has had a negative reaction to my face yet, so *shrug*.
