Last time I was heartbroken which wasn't that long ago. I listened to Apologize-Timbaland or No It Isn't-+44 then I try to cheer myself up and listen to happier songs

if and when i get heartbroken i would listen to "where'd you go"
pretty slow tune and the "i miss you so" part would fit perfectly to the situation

Lazarus by Porcupine Tree is always good for depression, tho it doesnt really help the situation.
Good Riddance by Green Day works in the right mood
RHCP are good for recovery, but you have to find the right song for the right occasion with them.
