I'm 16 and I've never dated anyone. I've never kissed anyone, etc etc.
D| It's just hard for me to talk to people. I'm so afraid of rejection, and I don't see why. If it's not someone I know, or am ever going to see again, why should I care?
And then my friend, no offense to him, but he's a bit of a manwhore. He's toned down lately, thank goodness, but he's gone through like...10 boyfriends in the past two years.
I just don't understand where he finds them all.
Or HOW he gets them.

be patient? i'm in the exact same situation. sometimes you just gotta be yourself and hope for the best. i know this may not help, because i'm in the exact same situation but at least i know how you feel? and i've dealt? you just gotta wait, you still have a whole lot ahead of you, right? hope my small advice helped?

Found anyone locally on GYC. Do a public search.
Research facilities that have gay teen clubs organizations near by.
Ask your friend. If he doesn't have trouble finding guys, then its likely he wouldn't have trouble finding someone for you or atleast get you started on finding guys on your own. It is better to die on your feet than to live on your knees ( Ibarurri 1895)

Dude, dating is totally overrated. I mean, it's way better to be single for a while than to have a million crappy boyfriends. Just be patient, you'll meet someone.

True, but you also do learn a bit from experience, and as bad as it is being hurt by some guy, it only makes you stronger in the long run, and helps you "understand" (that the right word?) more.
Be patient, you'll find someone that is right for you soon, but perhaps being a bit more proactive would also help

Being yourself and smiling are the 2 greatest aphrodisiacs, as they just cause the right people to come your way. I'm in the same situation, but I know that if I start acting like someone who I'm not, it just won't be me and I won't find what I want in life. So, I would advise to be patient, and look in the forums. Reading these, I often find that there are many people like us who are unsure/never dated/nervous, but its not to worry. And its always more people in the same situation than you think, so you're not alone
