I know for certain that without my best friend by my side, I seriously doubt I would have made it this far. With all the leaning shoulders, crazy car ride homes, and general friendly love.
So would any of you not survive without your best bud?

Yes.
Because I don't do "best buds". There are people that have made it much easier, but I'm fairly sure that I would still be here if by here you mean still alive. Obviously I might not be "here" as in right where I am now, but be that as it may.
To be honest, I always wanted people that where close like that, but that's not the way life led me, so I find myself being more solitary and self-reliant than most people.

Being here, as in where I am now. Well, it's quite plausible if I chose to cut my hair I wouldn't be where I am right now, so yeah, I'd be somewhere else.
My best friend moved away along time ago. I've had one or two good friends since then, but no, I don't think they've really 'changed' anything about me, or led me here, but they certainly have encouraged certain behaviours and such.
I would survive yes, in fact Christmas would be made easier 
You should always respect one's religious beliefs, however imaginary friends, delusional behaviour, a belief in a two thousand year old folk-lore should be treated by a professional.

I'd be different, sure. Probably significantly weaker, with less self-esteem and solidity.
Physically I'd probably still be here though.
I mean, hadn't I met them, I could've ended up better, or worse, who knows. It's just kind of a reflex thing for me to think that yeah, I probably would've ended up worse since best mates are highly valued sources of joy (and many others) in our lives, but really, you never know. You would've just met other people, made good friends with those people, and have them as best mates instead...
So I guess it'd be different... Hard to say if it would've been better or worse, but certainly different. But in any case yeah I love me best mates, they really have had a great impact on who I am now, and I wouldn't go and replace that with much anything else.

To be perfectly honest - I don't think that I would be here without my friends who have stuck by me when my parents split up, when I discovered my sexuality and when I came out at school and got bullied.
They have helped me much more than they will ever know.

i would not be here. There was a time where i almost ended it all but it was my best buds who stopped me. If it was not for them i would not of been here today.

I don't have many friends, not many at all. Those I do have, the majority of them I hold very close, very close indeed, and we share problems with each other whenever we have them.
I was very close to completely losing it last year and I'm sure if it wasn't for my family and my mates I'm pretty sure I would not be alive right now.

sure I'd still be here. all of my friends are in the "way too cool for school" crowd, so they're of anbsolutely no help with this kinda stuff... considering they don't know.
I like my friends, but I've handled this mainly on my own and done fine, thanks very much.

I really don't know. The friends I have now are the greatest thing that has ever happened to me. I've really only been friends with most of them for 1-2 years, but they have been the best years ever. Would I be here with out them? Probably. Would I be where I am, and as happy as I am? Definitely not.

 friends...I have to say I'd agree with Kanae and Mooyak.
Where I am right now is all me. I wish I did have that kinda support and stuff though. Life would make a lot more sense I would imagine. But then again, I like being (or trying to be) independent. the 'free thinker.' It gets real tiring real quick though <_<
