let's put the past away.
enough of this, lovelessness
because sure, i'm miserable
but i'm getting better
with each ticking second
a small weight is lifted
cause now i've been through it
and really know how you used to live.
i know it enough to want to console you
a hundred fold more than i wanted to before,
and because of you
i'm in love with the life i lead
and i know you love me too
but even after all this
i still barely know myself
and this is as innocent as im getting
so what's next? what's new?
what's life like when you're you?
you're happy, i hope, in love, i hope
tell me, call me, just to talk
about how you're feeling, what you're doing
about all the people you met today
and we can put the past away.
soo this is the first poem ive posted on here. ive posted a bunch already on my myspace soo i hope you like it! feedback would be chill. =]
