I know this is going to come across as outright spam, but I really do think it would be to the benefit of the site as some level or another.
As some people may know I have been advertising this game called Cybernations in an attempt to get people together in order to found the first ever GBLT alliance on the site. So far my efforts have been met with little success.
I am simply asking, is there any chance that the moderation can have my backing and help me get as many people from this site to join as possible? By means of drawing attention to it and giving it tons of needed paraphernalia? An investment into this venture will most definitely increase the amount of bonding between members of this community, as well as give this site something which other sites surely lack. I am unaware of any other GBLT site that has an alliance based in a game, we may in fact be the first.
P.S. Great job with the forums too, it's really been improving lately.

I wouldn't think that that would be something that we could back as a staff team to be honest. I mean, by all means, it might be a good idea, but if nothing else, it kind of promotes a gap between the GBLT and the straight communities. If theGYC is seen to support an alliance, albeit on an online game, then this could bode badly for the reputation of theGYC.
But, I'm sure management appreciate the compliment regarding the forums Adam Hillsden Manager -Operations Department Chat Moderator Forums Moderator TheGYC Chat Services
If one hides nothing, where is the fun in getting to know him?

Well, it's not so much to develop a rift between straight players and gay players. There is in fact one noted gay player in Cybernations who is one of the most renowned diplomats they have. The thing is, alliances in this game are often based on a common theme, a common mold. For some it's from them being an alliance in a different but similar game, for others it's from them being from an off-site place. For us, it's a combination of the latter most and our sexuality. Also, Cybernations is a fervently anti-Nazi place, in fact there are frequent Nazi hunts that take place to annihilate nations espousing their discriminatory views. For them to be anti-GBLT at the same it, it just doesn't follow.
The only way we will face problems is from incompetent leadership. There is a strict and bold line drawn between "In Character" (IC) and "Out of Character" (OOC), and to break through that line, the Fourth Wall, is always viewed in bad taste and immature. So while we may pronounce ourselves as an alliance consisting of GBLT members, if we play our cards right and show that we're made of the right stuff, they will certainly not give a damn.
If anything, the most that can be done to help bring attention to it would be to post something on the Home Page regarding instructions and information as how to sign up, and as much detail as can be thrown in. Although I will still understand completely and whole heartedly if such a thing cannot be done.

Well, okay...lets put it this way:
We cannot offer any form of official support per se, merely because it is a game.
Now don't get me wrong, I do know the power of what a game that involves team work between members of similar interest can do...but as MedicPlease stated, we would be concerned about segregating ourselves from others.
The game is still a novel idea, however. So, I have sticked the thread in the Gaming Discussion and RPG forum to help you draw attention to it.
If you get any staff involved with your game, they will doing it on a personal level.

Thanks so much, I owe you one. Hey, if you ever decide to play let me know, I've got a triumvirate going and I need two people to take the slot as leaders.
