Jumping on the bandwagon of "Why have I been banned?" *sobs*

I am utterly perplexed. A few minutes ago I logged onto thegyc chat for like virtually the first time ever and about a minute or so later I have been banned. So the question begs, which one of the rules did I inadvertantly violate? (Bearing in mind that I did not have enough time to talk to anyone before actually being banned.) The only thing I can think of is that (in my unfamiliarity with the UI) I clicked on something I shouldn't have. (In which case I would be delighted to know what.)

The chat window kept giving me the same instructional HELP message over and over (ad nauseum et infinitum). So, a bit puzzled I typed in "does this work?" and pressed enter. At that point a message popped up saying I'm banned.

And while I do not particularly mind being banned - I am not really the public chat room-ish type - I am slightly puzzled, because I am not the kind of person that usually exhibit the sort of behaviour one would expect of someone that gets banned from chatrooms. (Not to cast aspersions on the character of any person who does get banned regularly.)
An eye for an eye only leaves the whole world blind

Hi Jeichek

I have reviewed the reason for why you were banned.

You were not banned because you intentionally broke the Terms and Conditions that you agreed to upon becoming a member of TheGYC.

A connection was not establish properly to the Chat Room. This flooded the Chat Room. I have explained further in PM.

Sorry again for the inconvenience and please do carry on using the Chat
