Well i pretty much only have 3 real friends.... like that we spend time together outside of school.isnt that sad? how do i make new ones. i have some people in mind that i would really like to be friends with, but how do i ask them to do sumthing? i wish i could go bak to 1st grade where when u wanted to "play" u would have ur mom call up and schedule a playdate

because in my personal experience( you know what? i tried to type that like 5 times and just game up i don't know if its spelt right haha) you can be friends with people you want to be more than friends with, but it never ends well
and as for making more friends, do more stuff
join a team, i don't care if your crap at everything, just join a team of some kind
or get a part time job?
or if your into art join an art class or join some kind of choir if thats your thing
if your spending time doing what you like with people you don't know but they like it aswell then you've got a pretty fertile grounds for a friendship right there
or you could try being nicer to people but thats no fun haha

Simmons basically summed it up. Be nice, share your hobbies with people who have the same hobbies and most importantly, don't change the person you are just to make new friends. It is better to die on your feet than to live on your knees ( Ibarurri 1895)

jsprb: what the other people posted are excellent ways to make more friends one of the biggests words of advice I can give you is to be yourself and not pretend to be someone you are not. If you are yourself, you will make friends that have things in common with you. Sorry if I wasn't a big help , but I hope you will be able to have more friends.

Truth be told, if you end up with 1 good friend, someone you can always count on, then you're a head of a lot of people in life.
That being said, I don't want to beat a dead dog, but just get involved. A lot of my friends came from Youth in Government. It depends on what your interests are, etc. I wouldn't just go up and ask "Do you want to be my friend?" ... but maybe start with a casual "hey, have we met before?" or something.

lol i don;t think my advice would be any hopefull as i like to dream and keep everything to myself and i sometimes find people annoying and boring so i just wandered off on my own. but hey if u really wanna make friends then take my advice, be nice, friendly,humourous and talk to people. looks don't matter but if they find that your character is easygoing and lively, then they will like you and of course be yourself.i'm a hardcore goth and not many of my friends accept it but they still like me because of my character.guess its just my appearance that change lol. tho i don't advise you to trust your friends completely because once they start betraying you, you'll find it that it hurts more than being a loner.
