Yesterday was my first "warning by a mod" in the Lobby, chat room for "flooding". I felt his warning was totally inapropriate and decided to challenge the validity in private with him. I argued that his "warning" was inappropriate based on the fact i didn't flood nor did i ever intend to and never have as im not retarded or bored, To me a flood consists of many things but the most common view of a "flood" would be repetitive and masses of typing that wud cover the whole chat room in one hit, that may be an extreme example or it cud be repetitive lines of typing or simular manner. All i did was ask people if they cud guess how tall i was , yes it was a game but not many people were chatting and only 2 or 3 answered my dumb little question.. there answers being also not realistic but it got people chatting and laughing and i tend to be random and say whatever pops into my head and the mod answered that numbers cause flooding, i was like WTF how can "34cm" ( an answer) be considered flooding? and seeing as i never said the numbers but other people did why am i the flooder? dosent everyone who types anything longer then one line flood? isn't all characters typed on a screen in a chat room flooding? according to his definition? and he said that if i argued with him he will kick me and i said go ahead this is a chat room i have a life... i didn't no that there is a suppression on topics in the chat room other then the obvious and that fun isn't allowed and that freedom of speech thats "relative" is not encouraged? so now i am deciding weather i wish to continue in a place were i cant be myself ( within reason) or delete my profile and leave.. i would like some opinons from those who use the chat rooms and maybe i have the "wrong" view on this matter?
P.S im not against MOD control just a MOD who to me didn't make any sense but appeard to abuse his "power"

Hey, Bobby.
It's sad to hear that you feel you've been warned inappropriately and from your description, I'd have to say that I agree with you. That said, though, I wasn't in the room at the time so I don't know the exact circumstance, etc.
To file a proper complaint, you should email chatmanager@thegyc.com with the appropriate chat log, if you kept it.
Hope that helps Matt.

thanx Matt for your view.. as much as i think complaining wud be appropriate im not sure if its that important and im not one to make a mountain out of a mole hill..i just hate being accused of something i don't think is right or i didn't do.. justification is my reward and knowing im right is adequate..
