Think about it, most of the hottest guys you see are straight. Do our looks have alot to do with us becoming bisexual or gay. What do you guys think?

I think its just limited choice. You seriously don't see that many gay guys around the place (unless you're a lucky devil in which case I envy you). You're more used to being around straight guys, and therefore more attracted to straight guys.
I have another possible theory which I know will get backlash. Everyone in the world is trying to 'fit in' in a way, which I call (wait for it) a search for normality. Maybe an attraction to straight guys is an inherent desire to be with someone who is considered normal in today's prejudiced society. Just an idea to think about. Pardon my ranting. I really am crazy today.

I subscribe to the limited choice school of thought. When you find more gay guys that you're around with, it should die down. Also, I think part of it is to do with the "forbidden" love.. I think someone said somewhen that we go after what we think we can't have - therefore if you know a guy is straight, you're probably more likely to think of him as sexy then if he was gay. Oh, and also the fact that there are more straight guys in the world than gay.
I don't agree with ya kink about the normality thing.. but that's only cos I've torn out the word normal in my dictionary... every person on this world is different, so what is the 'normal' person then? Life is like a sewer: What you get out of it, depends on what you put into it

Couldn't have said it better myself, squidged. For instance, if I only found gay or bisexual guys attractive, then I'd be VERY limited for choice in my lifestyle. Fancying a straight guy just heightens the sexual fantasty when you know they'd never do it! Hehe..

Well I thought it was because you see straight guys for as long as you can remeber... I mean majority of boys are straight, and you are taught to like it... for a example most straight gilrs have a sexual infatuation with their farthers when they are children, and most straight boys have it with their motheres. Hence the sayin "Every man grows up to marry their own mother". A popular theory has been that gay boys are sexually infatuated with their farthers earlier own in their childhood. And so for thoes who are the attraction to straight males is very strong. However this is just a theory and I do support the limited choice answer as well. .... Anywho, this made me come off as a tottal nerd.... so I'm gonna go now Boyz have more fun.... when they are with other boyz

Yeh, I'm in favour of Squidged's theory. There are some things in life, the more one is unlikely to get it, the more enthusiastic one would attempt to get it. Oh I just can't remember how many guys I've fantasized being with just coz they're... uhh... straight.
But I guess it's also possible that if you don't know that many gay guys (like me), then it's possible there are many more good looking gay guys around.

if its like my town the straight guys r hotter. but definately due to limited selection. not many guys out yet. i know there are more gay guys, and hot ones too, they're just not out
