So I was wondering about what movies the people on here like.
For me, I have a BIG list, but I'll narrow it: The Royal Tenenbaums Benny & Joon The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou Get Real Another Gay Movie
Those are my top five, probably. What about you? Facebook.

Millenium Actress (best anime movie) Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me (best live-action movie)
The End Of Evangelion gets a special mention because it is the most depressing and disturbing movie I have ever seen.
Inland Empire also gets a mention because there has never been anything like it.

yes, i agree that there probably has never been such an embarrassing display of miserable post-modern gibbering as inland empire. at least not from such a 'major' filmmaker and three hours long.

Shame! Shame!
I mean, sure, it was totally unitelligible in terms of plot, but I thought it was a wonderful look at the concept of identity. And really, you have to give credit to Laura Dern -- her performance was really spectacular.
Of course, I can also see why the movie wouldn't really be for everyone. XD
