fake profiles ?

is it just me or is there a ton of profiles on here that seem suspect as hell ? I was a member on this website a long time ago and there was the same guy claiming he was 13 years old who still says he's 13 now (hmmmm) some may know who i'm talking about, but i dunno, alot of people on here seem fake

I agree. Quite a few people here are fake.For instance, some people upload pictures of models on their profile... However, in my opinion, although it is foolish to pretend you're someone else, it is even more irresponsible to leave comments on every good-looking user's guest book, asking him to exchange pics Let's not be so shallow....

u said it, if somebody wants to cam with me i make them show me a pic of them holding a sign with my name and the date or somethin like that, or swap cells

If I deem somebody fake, I usually ignore them, or humour them (depending on my mood).
Once I pretended I was a lion to someone (who had PM'd me on chat) for like half an hour, they never gave up hope that I'd cam with them or something. lol.

one site i used to use it seem like every other profile was fake in the end i stop useing it

well, if there is a suspicious user then there are ways you can report them
with the vast amount of members we have, sometimes a user can get by the radar. We'd like it if you guys could help us out in case this happens. We've even added a "Report User" button on top of everyone's profile, so if you are suspicious, you can report them on the spot. Who doesn't love instant gratification? Just look for the button that says "Moderation" then click "Report User". The page will then re-direct to a box that asks to describe user's activity. Just explain why you are reporting the user, and we review it.
also, if you feel it necessary, you can e-mail forummanger@thegyc.com and explain your concerns
