Background: Usually in control of his powers, can only contain so much energy

Ryan lied in bed all day, until lunchtime when he was woken up by his friend Astoria who had teleported into his dorm room... again.
"Morning sleeping beauty" she said. Ryan's head was spinning, "Ugh... seriously, can't you knock once in a while." he said. "I mean this is an invasion of privacy. You don't see the invisible guy spying on everyone while they change... but then again, i suppose you wouldn't see him... hmm..."
"Riiight.. well you might want to know that its 5 o' clock, princess and we have to go see the candidates embarrass themselves in front of the cruel, sadistic, vampires that we call classmates."
"Or we could do something none emo. how about we go and mess around with the band geeks" said Ryan.
"Oh come on." said Astoria, "By the time you've fixed up your appearance, we'll be lucky to see the boy who morphs into a toad tell everyone about how he wants to build a frog sanctuary in the school, serve flies for lunch and... ugh... set up a girl-frog compulsory kissing booth."
"You must mean "frog-spawn-shaun" said Ryan
"Oh my god is that really his name?" said Astoria.
"How the hell should i know?" said Ryan, "All i know is that i look perfect, and we're late for your boyfriend's speech, come on."
"What!?.. that's gross" said Astoria.
"Well" said Ryan, "You seem to know all of his policies pretty well."
"Ok, ok, can we just go already?" said Astoria, "We're gonna get detention."
"What the hell?" said Ryan, "You teleport into my room but you can't teleport out detention? That is messed up!"
"Ok seeya later masturbator." said Astoria, as she teleported to the room where the speeches were being held.
"Ha ha ha." said Ryan as he made his way there on his own, thinking about coming out to Astoria. "How could i tell her?" He thought, She had been his first friend when he came to Orwell College, but she was one of the homophobic ones... Ryan's train of thought was cut short as he walked into the Hall. He looked at the stage and saw the speaker's upper garments melt. "Woo! Now this is my kind of party." shouted Ryan. But then the candidate disappeared. "Oh well, that made my day, seeing a cute half-naked guy vanish into thin air... and now i'm bored." The principle was shouting about dinner and freetime or something boring so Ryan decided to fire a short jolt of energy at him...
