interesting...... gay people here on the island are either super insanely sexual(no offense, but i don't want that for a bf) or not out of the closet yet cept me  but i enjoy it a lot and it is fun!

Liberating
We all have only one life and we should all crave the most interesting paths for ourselves in order to make that life worth living. It should be filled with experiences both good and bad to explore what we are as humans - and, as sexualities go, the very fact that homosexuality is less common than heterosexuality allows us to explore parts of human nature that are open to fewer people, which makes the whole thing that much more interesting and "liberating", so that we can have a life that is just that little bit more unique (something a lot of people seem to strive for). And when we manage to face up to the ignorance of society but overcome it (if we're unlucky enough to have to go through that), there is surely a sense of "liberation" involved when we can look at ourselves and recognise the strength of character we possess.
