same as above really
as long as isnt over the top just to make a statement then i think its fine
on the other hand i would probably only do such things in some place where i didnt know anyone - im not out + wouldnt want ppl i know to see it (call me a wimp if u want!) if ur really in love wit someone then it wud be polite to show at least some public affection (if they want it too)
unfortunately in todays society it may be difficult to do so without fear of being mocked

I love to stand next to my man with an arm around him.. or to hold his hand, even kiss a bit in public.. Let people stare if they want.. half of them probably think I'm a girl anyway.... If people can't accept us, thats their problem, not mine.. I won't hide my feelings just because they are for another man, not when "straight" people can hug and kiss without anyone saying anything. When in danger or in doubt, run in circles scream and shout.

well im all for PDA. with my last boyfreind we would work around holding hands and stuff through the entire city and stuff. we wudnt be all over each other unless we had a fit of hornyness but we wud give each other the odd ksis here and there. it wasnt all grotesque and unnecessary.
i think if you like the person enough to let everyone know and have the guts to do it infront of the world then do it, its best to be open about stuff and its fun. if ur not out i dont really recommend this though because sum1 u know might see you x x
anyway, PDA is great x

It depends on how you feel about PDA. If your confortable doing it then go for it, but if your not and your partner wants to, dont just ignore him , just tell him how you feel. If it's the other way round, and it's you wanting to try, then make sure he feels safe and confortable doing it first.

i was never one for PDA, i dont mind about other people doing it...but i just dont like feeling like my privacy's being invaded when people are watching me kiss someone. holding hands in public is so natural for me that it doesnt bother me, but kissing in public does. one bullet is all you need. one kiss is all you want. one chance is all you get..

t0ny wrote: I can't say I'd have a huge deal with PDA, however it would have to be controlled. I don't think PDA is a problem with your partner- in most case- but a problem with socioty, which is not always understanding. However too much of it- whether you're straight or gay- is a little tacky. It has nothing to do with sexuality but just plain etiquitte.

When I'm out with Kim, I am not afraid to show everyone I love her. I don't mean that I am doing it just to show off, I mean to say, that I just don't care if other people don't like us being together.
I am willing to do anything that straight people get away with, however, I don't do everything, because Kim isn't comfortable with as much as they do.. We kiss a lot, hold hands, walk with our arms around eachother. All of that..
The fact that Straight couples can do more than that without being stared at, or being acused of showing off is completely wrong, but nothing I can do will change it, so I deal with it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mZN-DLTxG-A

I'm all for PDA, as long as it's just what comes natural. No gay couples should feel obligated to hide their affection towards one another.

But of course, neither should they be obligated to show them. But yes, I am for PDA, if it stems from nothing other than affection.

In my opinion, i wouldnt really give a damn if my bf or a guy tried to do something to me. We are what we are and we all show it in different ways! Wow that sounds wierd lol

yepp, me and my boyfriend will hold hands whenever we sit down somewhere, the occasional kiss, arms around each other when we walk ect..
BUT...
we dont do it when there are lots of people around, a few doesn't matter cos you feel safe, with how shallow and prejudiced people can be these days, it's safer and smarter not to do anything in a pretty crowded place.
otherwise yea i'm all for it, it's just being in love afterall!!

I'm from a small-town who thinks President Bush is the greatest thing to happen to America, so PDA's here are a definate no-no.
However, when I am around a group of friends who knows about me and knows about my significant other (that I lack right now) then I'm not afraid, and I would be quite crestfallen if he rejected me.
I doubt I would be the one rejecting, as I always look for ways to display love or like. But if I rejected it would have to be a damn good reason, and even then I would still feel bad, especially if I could see it in his eyes... Rejection IS a disappointment.

I don't mind PDA, but me and my ex-fiance never really needed it. We could kind of feel each other without touching, it was....something! KING JAMES THE GREAT

If my man can't do PDA's
I'll teach him to.
I think they're really sweet if they're not overboard. Especially if you're not doing it to show off but truly because you care for him.
Straight PDAs are icky though -Be the change you want to see in the world- Ghandi
