Actually my history course asks for an investigation you conduct yourself: I spent a few hours in a university liberary reading up on The Great Powers and the Ottoman Empire by Lord Kinross, and did a load of sourse finding in order to write about the role of the great powers in the fall of the Ottoman Empire. So it's not all tests. The test actually challanges me: my knowledge is excellent, but they actually want knowledge of historical interpretations rather than of events, and I have no historiography. I tend to focus too much on my own veiwpoint, so I don't tend to get any more that 14/20. It's something to deal with before May, certainly.
Well, the IB consists of six subjects at higher and standard levels: you're own language (in my case English at Higher level), a forgien language, for which I'm taking Ab Initzio Italian at Standard level (so I start with no knowledge of the language but have to get to the same level of literacy in Italian after two years as I am in French after five: rediculous!), a science (Standard Biology), a maths subject (Standard Maths Studies, which is less than actual Standard Maths), and then two choices of either an art, a humanities or another science. I've chosen Higher History and Higher Social Anthropology (the study of culture).
On top of that, you need a compulsory 4000 word essay on a subject of your choice (I did the role of Nationalism in the causes of the Second Sino Japanese War), a course called Theory of Knowledge (you're familiar with espitemology, I'm sure!), and 150 hours of community service (which I more than doubled in extra curricular).
Once I get this diploma, I'm going to put my Extended Essay and my TOK essay on my blog on here. Can't until I have it, though, because I might be accused of plagerism if it falls into the wrong hands!

It's hardly my most casual, jsut the best looking thing I can wear casually. I do have jeans and t-shirts, I just don't like showing my arms so I wear a zip-up fleece with it. not the best looking thing, but the best stuff to wear if you just want to blend in.
I'm intending on studying History: I'm donig the International Baccaluraite, and I'm not very good at a lot of my subjects, so I'm predicted 27 points out of 45, where 25 is a pass. That's enough to get me into Gloustershire. But I expect I'll do exceedingly well on my TOK and Extended Essay, with luck.

Indeed, the illusion of intelligence is an important impliment, induced usually by implication using alliteration. I do tend to feign intellectualism and, occasionally, sainity in order to give weight to my arguements. It's all godo fun, though, isn't it? And, yes, I do tend to dress well given a suit but I cannot dress well casually for the life of me. I just do not know how to do it! It's all suits, for me. The closest I've come to something good looking but casual is a woman's frilly whitre blouse worn with a pair of black pinstripe trousers and an matching open waistcoat... taken from a three peice suit.

I've seen your posts about and tend to enjoy reading them: packed full of common sence and clarity! So I just wanted to say hi.

This is random but you look kind of like my friend, and at first glance I thought you were him, especially cuz of your username. His AIM screen name has the word "Yak" in it, so I thought you were him. Plus I think he's supressing his feelings towards boys

Well that's the problem, intelligent people don't like doing mindless repetitive homework for weeks when they can easily prove the knowledge on a half hour test.

Meh, I have a general plan, colleges to transfer to, a degree in veterinary medicine hopefully, but at the moment it's more about figuring out how I can be successful in college. I have trouble with academics, amazing test scores but I fail the classes. Spent a couple years under the impression that the difficulty was due to Aspergers but turns out that's usually a misdiagnoses so I figure it was more a matter of a bright kid coupled with overprotective parents.
This guestbook system is a bit slow, if you want to chat I've got all three of the main messangers, Y!M, aim, and msn

Yeah, anti circumcision is my big activist thing. Thankfully I was left with a lot of loose skin and have been able to restore a bit, but the nerve endings aren't going to come back so it's all cosmetic :\
And if some crazy fursuiter had lifted me near a balcony I'd fear them too, as I said, best to stay away from the general population of them, bunch of loons mostly.
Oh, and mine was a gag prize, I won green tea tissues. But on the other hand...I also got to remove an article of clothing from one of the guys =p

Oh, and the trait would be...hmm, well not sure what you're allowed to say in these guest books.
It's a fairly fun part of the male anatomy that is often barbarically sliced off at infancy here in the states.

A furry one, not nearly as fun as anime cons but meh, a chance to socialize nonetheless.
You must have only been in there five minutes, if you'd been in there longer it would have been rather difficult to leave, what with the increasingly naked bishounen. I won a prize actually.

Shame that my favorite of their traits isn't able to be mimicked.
Too bad you have to miss Yaoicon, if the Yaoibingo I participated in at Fanime is any indication...it'll be a fun convention.
Keep an eye out for me at Fanime next year, I'll be the one dressed as Yaoi-Jesus. There's another great con in January but it's not an anime one.
