well wicca comes from the word witch. so yes wiccans believe in the craft (witch craft, magic) but wicca has been around for a long time, um I think that it came from the base religion paganism which was brought up by the ancient celts back in like 1000 B.C or something like that. but yeah I think thats all there is to say, there are many other things about the religion I could say but it would take up to much room

You probably have, you just don't realize it. Its not like we are so horribly different that we stand out.

i think u have the definition of pagan mixed up it refers to not believing in any religion, it isn't a religion in itself.

yeah but I think from what I learned paganism is like a tree, and wicca and other things are the branches, so like paganism is just like well I'm not exactly sure what but yeah. but last year I had to do this stupid world history project and I did it on the celts and it talked about paganism but not enough to actually find stuff out

Wicca is a new interpretation of the ancient pagan beliefs - it came about in 1957.
Paganism is any religon which worships nature in some form.
Wicca usually involves worshipping a god and a goddess but there are many other paths - druidry, faerie-craft, shamanism, voudun etc.
Basically Wicca is now a term used for any form of witchcraft based religion.

Wicca is hard to define now because is has change dso much over the past 50 years.

So paganism is a broad term encapsulating many religons - Pagan was origionally a christian term meaning 'non-christian' so it doesnt mean u dont believe in relgion - thats atheism

i don't and didn't have that whilst i was at school, if they want to believe that they can shoot thing out of their hands, let them, they'll be disappolinted nsoon enough.
