okay so, how has the GYC helped me . . .
I have met some truly wonderful people on here (and some not so wonderful) but I am grateful for all the people I have met on here, for thier support, for their opinions, for the fun times( and not so fun. . .) and I look forward to more. I want to thank all the people who I converse with reguraly(is that a word??) and you know who u are, I want to thank u for being understanding and helping me go through the rough times, even though I didn't actually say I was having a rough day, but nevertheless, thanks

I think if I had kept going, it would have turned out to be an acceptence speech

Yeah since i found the GYC i have had several good expirence. most of the people i have met have been incredible , its always nice to know theres better in the world and the GYC opened my eyes to be who iam, no more hiding behind the fake life i once had.

ya you right. it has given me a proudness to be gay....hey guys...were exceptional...only 10% maybe less of the population...that makes us the cream over the milk. thats what i come to realize today. ive read many forums, i written posts to a few forums. ive been reading answers, comments and arguments and i share with my school councelor the opinion that people here are smarter and have broader views than teen chat/forum. its easy to compare. here we can post and get real stuff.

GYC hasn't helped me that much yet. Realizing who I really am I did already find out at a dutch forum board like this one. But i really have to agree people here have broader views, just like on the dutch forum, I really like it although its hard to express myself sometimes in English . Also interesting threads on the forum.
Still im a month here now but met some amazing people in the chat already, really like talking there and over here! Nice place!

I've never been open with my sexuality around other people. I felt alone and wrong. I never knew any gay kids. Nor have I met a gay person in my life. I would see all the guys with their girlfriends walking through the halls in school or on the street. I felt as if I didn't belong. I'm in 12th grade. I've never had any physical attraction to other girls. The last time I was actually attracted to another female was in the 7th grade. I didn't know how to think; Lost in confusion; I didn't know if I was gay or straight. I thought it was just a faze. I've got no friends or family members who would actually approve of me being gay if I came out and told them. GYC has lessen the struggle within my mind. Talking to kids who are around my age factor who go through the same stuff as me really is comforting in thought.

It's helping me to embrace my homosexuality [I know I have yet to be here actually long enough to get properly situated, but I've been bottling this up for many years. It just feels good to get this off my chest. I just feel more confident] It's just nice to talk with people who actually have an understanding from where you're coming from and not to know you're going to be judged just for trying to be yourself and not hiding behind a facade. Maybe one day I'll actually open up to my family and friends. [I tend to talk too much. ;P]

I found GYC like 3 days ago but Ive changed so much. I feel comfortable w/ myself so much more now that im more open. even though I havent comeout to anyone I know in real life Im being more honest to myself and being and expressing who I really am. Im looking to come out to some of my friends soon because I dont feel I need to hide anymore. the people here on GYC boosted my confidence and I want to thank everyone for that! lols im hyper now... 12:41 AM

The GYC has helped me in so many ways, Being comfortible with myself and not being ashamed of my sexuality is just the beginning of the wonderful things the GYC has done for me!

I find that the gyc is a very helpfull place.. as u are able to find other gays, bis, or lezibans and be able to talk to them as long as talk about feelings or ideas through the web forums.. i may not have found what im looking for yet.. but the gyc is a great place for me to go and have a good time.. wit all the great ppl wuz their not to luve..
