the first person i came out to...well it was four people at the same time at a leep over when it was all quiet at 2 am...they were just like "seriously?" and i told em yeh and there completely kewl with it.one of em is bi-curious another is bi-curious and the other is a bit of a homophobe but i dont show my gayness at all so hes kewl with it too.then i told idk about 10 other friends in the past mabey 2 weeks? includeing one 2 days ago =] now just to tell people when school starts on sept. 4th...funn >.> i will never tell my parents till i get a bf by my side OR i move out. i like the moveing out idea best =]

The first person I came out to was my best friend Danielle. She was shocked at first because she thought I was as straight as can be. I was walking back from school with her and I just decided I'd had enough of lieing to my best friend so I just brought the conversation around to telling her. I was so nervous but after she was finally convinced I wasn't joking I think i had the best conversation of my life. I felt so free and could talk openly about whatever I liked... we then had a conversation about boys at my school and it was just fun.

the first person i came out to was to a friend at college, (little did i know, he was gay aswel!) anyway he was really supportive and even though it was really hard coming out to my other friends, it was really worth it cause now we have a laugh over things, i havnt come out to my family although i nearly did.... last xmas my sister said she and her friend want a gay mate for xmas, i nearly said how about a gay brother? i didnt though i was really scared. im not close with my family anyway just my sister. ah well!

I told my best friend, who is also gay. I was so terrified I had to write her a letter instead of saying it, even though she is into gay rights and all. When she read it she looked really shocked for about half a second and then said "That's amazing honey" and gave me a huge hug. It was all OK after that... until it came to telling my parents...

^^that would be me lol^^ and it was one of the best days of my life, has been better & better since. you're the best friend i could wish for sweetheart =) as for my own story, it was my older sister jess; i had been wanting to tell her for months but just never got the courage up, then i'd been left home alone & the puppy episode of "ellen" (the one where she comes out, for those of you who aren't avid followers lol) happened to be on...she came home and i just burst into tears and told her, & she was like "what the hell are you crying for you idiot, you know i don't care" haha (Y) so that was a pretty awesome first person to tell.

(unfortunately no one told me that the next happening in ellen is her first heart break. yay, that was a fun follow up! haha)

i've been really pretty lucky the reactions of all the people i've told (which is everyone except exended family atm), but have had one or two bad experiences also, so i'd be really happy to offer help to anyone who is considering coming out/has and is worried, just message me.

I have two occasions where i was kinda forced out of the closet. The first was when my older sister, Becca, found my stash of porno, which was gay, so she put two and two together and called me on it. But it wasn't really coming out cause she just sorta dropped it afterwards. The other time i was a little messed up, AKA drunk, and online ( a very deadly combination) and i told a friend who, in turn, told every soul he could. He was also gay so by his reasoning, outing me would make me want to date him, I didn't! Well it's sad cause im gonna have to "come out" once again only, this time, im in a college in the south of Illinois. And southerners do NOT like gays! Im sorta building up a strong friend basis before drop that on all of them.
