Yea, this is the most important. If you feel happy with 13yo being 17yo, so what's wrong ? It's only 4 years, is this a big difference ?
But backing to the main topic... It's actually beyond me - what do other people (psychologists, scientists, etc.) know about my sexuality ? OK, they studied psychology, they carried on some researches, but all their theories are just generalizations. I realized that I'm gay when I was about 13, my best friend had his first homosexual experience as 6yo (with another kid) - so ? What do psychologists think about it ? Everyone is different - you can be 13yo and be more mature than your 15/16yo friends. This is all nature and humanity not theory and rules. When I was 14/15, some of my my classmates didn't know anything about sex (still stupid, childish bullshit only), while others knew something more and I could even talk with them seriously about it. So statements like "(S)He's only **teen and (s)he's too young to be sure about his sexuality" are stupid, because she/he always knows better than you.
