I don't think they'd do much about the age diffrence but I would've told them just anyway's what ages you are. Like not have it be a secret thing. When birthday's roll around that might be a little hard to explain to everyone not to mention infront of your parents. Especially if they come out with a big blue cake that has 18 written in big buldgy white frosting.

Yeah the age intellectual and psychological barrier would be waaaaay too difficult for me. I am vastly open minded so it seems like I'm smarter than most adults I meet. And when you actually KNOW you're smarter than the person then you tend to use those smarts to teach or somefin funny like that. (God knows I do) If you're happy then you're happy just do your best to not get caught or something like in a difficult situation. You could tell each friend seperatly about one another so everyone knows but doesn't know that others know. (does that make sense?)

Anyway's what do I know I'm just a 14 year old kid.

Its only 4 yrs when your 24 and hes 20 no one will be bothered but it seems to be worse when your young E.G if a 13 yr old went out with a 9 yr old it would be looked down on but my grandparents have 11 yrs between them and no-ones bothered tbh

I don't think that the age different is too important...unless it's in the very serious cases like a man and boy. You're fine lol

I really believe that it is dependent on the maturity of the two people involved. I've met 13-year-olds that are a heck of a lot mure mature than some 18 year-old. The only thing would be making sure the younger person is in the relationship because he/she has feelings for you and that it isn't just an act of curiousity. If your in the relationship, you should know deep down why your partner is with you.

Dont they say that too find out who is too young for you that you half your age and add seven. I dunno why, its just what I heard.

I personally think age does matter for gay teenagers as pickings can be slim. That is not to say that it is ok for a 19 year old to date a 12 year old though. just that three or four years shouldn't really matter.

i think you are meant to half your age and add 7. so im 16 and that would make 15. But to be honest if your happy to be with them and care about what other people think then it really shouldnt matter

there seem to be 4 different issues u r having

The first is the age of ur boyfriend 4 years is a big difference but if your both happy (and ur not taking advantage of the age difference) i say stick with it.

The second is about wether u should tell ur friends, well hiding the fact that his 13 doesn’t look too good on ur part so if they ask tell them but other wise don’t.

The third is ur friend who claims to have had an experience when he was 6 i find that exceedingly hard to believe, there is no set age for sex it is when u believe u r ready.

And the last is wether u should have come out, well yes of corse u should have there’s nothing worse than living a lie, congratulations.

God I did a blog on this age thing twice, this is a horrible issue. I think ultimately it is up to you, but once you make one lie others are needed for support and you can soon get tangled in a web of lies that could hurt you and others around you.

as for the young sexual encounters, don't assume too much but I stuffed my hands down a guys shorts when I was 6 or something, I can barely remember it, it's all blurry, and me and this girl, who was 2 years older than me, got caught copying some adults in my backyard around that time as well, funny I assumed I was straight even though I felt a odd feeling in my stomach as I stuffed my hands, with permission, down his pants, I still get that odd feeling when I stuff my hands down guy's pants, with or without permission nowadays
