If having sex with another man is a sin, then I will sin until the day I die. If god doesn't like it, let him come tell me to my face so I can tell him where to shove his pretty little book. (Sorry if that offends anyone, but that is the way I feel.)

Some of these posts make it sound as if God is a force to be reckoned with. When it all boils down, the views of mankind are completely useless, because God does not care what they are, and when it comes to deciding where each human being will spend eternity, God will be following his own rules. No one gets to 'opt out' of his judgement, nor can they negotiate.

If there is a god, and he/she decides that I should go to an eternal punishment. Then I'll go obviously. But, I still stand by my earlier statement.

the bible is pure hypocrisy. Everything the bible says can be contradicted by another view that's written in it. For instance, Jesus says "in my fathers house, there are many rooms", and something else, like "no man nor woman, slave nor free, jew nor greek is different, as we are all equal in the eyes of God". This all works on one side of the argument, but on the other, Jesus also says that "the only way to Heaven is through me", thus meaning that only Christians can go to heaven. Another contradiction adding to this, is a long list of "sexually imoral" people will never go to heaven, which includes homosexuals, lesbians and adulterers.

Sorry for the bad spelling.

can you point out the hypocrisy there? i think i missed it

the fact that everyone was made equal does not contradict that only christians can go to heaven. because everyone was made equal and everyone has a choice - no one is treated differently based on country, just on faith - i dont see why that is an issue, a religion needs a reward system for its believers - because otherwise everyone would go to heaven and then the entire point of the religion is worthless.

I totally agree with you.
I beleive in God, always have, always will, and Im gay.
I used to goto church a little while ago, and things happend and I stopped going. But thats for a different time lol.
Umm I was told by the church, that God is against Gays and this. And you know, its kinda of hard to beleive, because He wouldnt have made me, or anyone gay if He didnt. And John 3:16 pretty much clearifies that.
"For God so loved the world, that He gave his only Son, that ANYONE who beleives in Him shall NOT perish, but have eternal life."
That verse has like always been in my life, and being gay, and stuff, it makes me start to beleive that God isnt against gays.
The people I went too church with told me that Anything "good" comed from God and anything "bad" coems from the devil.
However, they also teach that God made everything and everyone. So one would start to beleive, that God made people gay, the way that they are.

I dont really know where I was going toward the end there, lol but I think I've kinda said what I had to say lol.

Good for you for being who you are.

I'll talk to you later,
-Cory

Everyone sins.
EVEN GOD SINS!
He created the devil and knew what will turn out of it.
Oops did I say that? I did ;o

Im really not too sure where you got that from

the devil originally was an archangel that tryed to dethrone god, and thus fell from grace and became the devil. god did not 'create' the devil.

plus if god needs a reason to keep the devil around its because the devil facilitates choice, and that is what Christianity is about, choice.

right now i'm catholic.... and i'm considering converting to buddhism because of the intolerance of homosexuality by catholicism.......

i know buddhism isn't 100% supportive of homosexuality but theravada, japanese, and contemporary western buddhism are accepting of gays...

I'm not religious. I think all it takes is a little research to understand where religon came from and what it is being used for. But they don't really need it anymore, because the media is more effective at controlling society.

The worship of the sun and other stars is the oldest form of religion in the world.

What basically happened is, astronamers and mathmaticians figured by studying the various constellations of stars that they could predict eclipses and other such things. They used this knowledge to control people, saying, basically, that if the people didn't do as they were told they would black out the sun. People naturally rebelled and believed these astronamers were responsible for blackng out the sun when it was just an eclipse.

They formed religions based around the sun and the moon, which gave way to all the other religions in the world.

HORUS was born on 25th of December in Egypt in 3000bc. His mother was a virgin named Mary. His birth was accompnaied by a star in the East, which was followed by three kings to locate the 'saviour'. At the age of twelve he was a prodgical child teacher. At the age of 30 he was baptised and tus began his ministry. Horus had 12 disciples that he travlled about wth performing miracles such as healing the sick. He was known as the 'truth' and 'the light' and the 'son of God'. He was betrayed, crucified, dead for three days and thus resurrected.

ATTIS was born on 25th of December in Greece in 1200bc. His mother was a virgin. He was betrayed, crucified, dead for three days and thus resurrected.

KRISHNA was born in India in 900bc. His mother was a virgin. His birth was accompnaied by a star in the East. He travelled with his disciples performing miracles such as healing the sick. He was resurrected.

DIONYSUS was born on 25th of December in GREECE in 500bc. His mother was a virgin. He travlled about performing miracles such as TURNING WATER INTO WINE and healing the sick. He was known as the 'son of God'. He was resurrected.

MITHRA was born on 25th of December in Persia in 1200bc. His mother was a virgin. He had 12 disciples that he travlled about wth performing miracles such as healing the sick. He was dead for three days and thus resurrected. He was called 'the truth' and 'the light'. Sunday was the day of worship for Mithra.

There are many more that predate Jesus who subscribe to exactly the same set of characteristics. You seeing the pattern?

Jesus Christ was born on 25th of December. His mother was a virgin named Mary. His birth was accompnaied by a star in the East, which was followed by three kings to locate the 'saviour'. At the age of twelve he was a prodgical child teacher. At the age of 30 he was baptised and thus began his ministry. Jesus had 12 disciples that he travelled about wth performing miracles such as healing the sick. He was known as the 'truth' and 'the light' and the 'son of God'. He was betrayed, crucified, dead for three days and thus resurrected.

So, we know the first was HORUS. He wasn't real. He was created to scare and control the population. Where did they get the idea for him from?

First of all, it is completely astological. The star in the east is Sirius, the brightest star in the night sky, which, on December the 24th aligns with the three brightet stars in the Orion Belt, which are known as 'the Three Kings'.

Sirius and the 'Three Kings' all point at the pace of the Sunrise on December the 25th. This is where the ides comes form. The 'Three Kings' follow the Star in the East, Sirius' to locate the Sunrise: the birth of the sun from winter solice. The Sun of God, which became the birth of the Son. The Son of God.

The Virgin Mary is the constellation of stars called Virgo, which means Virgin.

The ancient symbol for Virgo is 'M', which is why so many 'virgin mothers' names being with the letter 'M'. For example, Jesus's mother Mary. Buddha's mother Maya.

Virgo is also reffered to as the 'House of Bread'. In fact, Bethlehem is a translation of, you guessed 'House of Bread'.

There is another interesting astronomical phenomenon that occurs around December 25th. From the summer solstice to the winter soltice, the days become shorter and colder. From the perspective of the Nothern Hemesphere, the sun appears to move south and get smaller and more scarce. This symbolised the process of death to the ancients. It was the death of the sun. By the Decemebr the 22nd, the sun, having moved South for 6 months makes it to its lowest point in the sky.

Here a curious thing occurs. The sun stops moving south for 3 days. Hence, the death of the sun of God for 3 days, or the SON of God for 3 days.

And during this three day pause the sun resides in the vicinity of the Southern Cross ( FOUR STARS THAT FORM A CRUCIFIX). After three days the sun moves one degree, this time North (resurrection).

This is why Jesus Christ and other man made solar gods, share the three day death and resurrection.

It is the three day pause, before the sun shoots back into the Notherne Hemesphere bringing Spring and thus 'salvation'.

Which brings us to Easter or Spring Equinox where the sun officially over powers the darkness and the days become longer and brighter.

The 12 disciples represent the 12 constellations of the Zodiac, which Jesus being the SUN travels about with.

The cross with the circle is NOT a symbol of christianity though it features on many churches. It is a PAGAN symbol.

The crown of thorns is the sun's rays.

From 1AD to 2150AD we were in the age of Pisces, the age that we are still in to this day.

In the Old testament, when Moses comes down with the ten commandments, he is very upset to see his people worshipping a golden bull (TAURUS), because Moses represents a new age (ARIES). This is why Jews, even today, still blow the Ram's horn. Upon the new age, everybody must shed the old age.

Now, Jesus represents the coming of the new age of PISCES, which is why he feeds 5000 people with bread and 2 FISH (the symbol of Pisces). When he begins his ministry, he befred 2 FISHERMAN. Now, we've all seen the Jesus Fish sticker on the back of cars. But, did you know, that the fish is actually a PAGAN astrological symbol.

Also Jesus's assumed birthday is essentially the start of this age.

When Jesus is asked by his disciples where the next passover will be after he is gone, he replies: 'Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he entereth in.'

This is the most revealing because after the age of Pisces came the age of AQUARIUS, which is represented by a man with a pitcher of water. Aquarius the bringer of water.
