Hey, I was just wondering if anyone wanted to share their greatest fears/phobia.

I have a totally disproportionate fear of wasps, I've never been stung by one but I just turn into a complete little girl when one flies near me, I just keep backing away until I trip over something.

Ever notice how they just keep flying around you, its like they can smell the fear.

The two most common fears in the UK, in this order, most feared first, are: public speaking, and death.

So, if you have a microphone in the corner of the room and a Briton has to tell the whole pub there's a bomb in the cellar that could go off at any moment, it's mostly likely that no-one will know what hit them until a debriefing with a man in a hood carrying a sythe.

I have a bit of virtigo, myself, and also that obligatory fear of death. I'm fine with hights if I have something to hold onto, or if there's a sufficient balcony, but I once went to this forest adventure thing called &quot;Go Ape&quot; in which I was strapped into a harness and sent onto the highropes. I have never been more frightened than when shuffling my feet along a single wire whilst holding onto for dear life to other wires either side of me, in the drizzle and some shoes that didn't have particularly good grip to begin with. And yet I could still throw myself off a platform on a zip wire or tazan swing with absolutely no trouble.

I dont think i know what my greatest fear is until i come close to encountering it... I mean, there are some things out there i dont even anticipate could happen to me, but when i finally realize... shit, it could/ has happened to me.... THEN it scares me more than i thought it ever could... even though i hadnt thought much of it at all previously....
