we can't ban religion. Religion, whatever beliefs people have, are special. relgion also serves another purpose, it gives hope to those who desire it. sometimes friends and family are not enough to calm one's spirit but to have belief in something larger can be more intimatein someone than any other person could do. Most relgions are connected to one another some way or another. we should respect other's beliefs, i do, even though i am told i will be reject at heaven's gate. one day all people will learn the truth and i believe no matter who he love we will enter that gate.

Religion hasn't got much time for truth. Indoctrination, propaganda and repression of free will, speech and expression on the other hand...

Well, its significantly hard to ban religion. In my opinion, religion SHOULDN'T be banned. It would be going against the ideals of Freedom, something I strongly believe in.
But then I think about how religion has divided people, how it's torn nations apart, and I wonder, is religion really beneficial? It DOES tend to bring people together, yes, but it seems to do more harm than good in today’s society.

I see…yeah, I understand what you’re trying to say with religion tearing people apart. My mom’s side of the family are Catholics, my dad’s side of the family are Evangelicals…as you can probably tell, I was kinda torn in between well, both sides of the family are constantly fighting, so one day I just told them I was gonna go into Unitarian Universalism, and they weren’t too happy, but whatevs.
