I sometimes wish i could be straight when i am with a grroup of straight guys. but I am also more than proud to be Gay!

No, I'm happy being gay. When I first found out, I did, but now I'm completely fine with it. To be honest I only wish that it was easier to have a friendship with a guy when he know's you're gay, but that'sprobably balanced out by the very close friendships you can get with girls. So I love being gay lol.

There are two primary instances when I wish I wasn't gay.

1) When I'm around girls, and they try to treat me like a girl. I hate that

2) When I see straight couples walking around and being happy and wishing it were that easy for me. Then I tell myself I'll find someone, but I just won't be able to walk around in public holding hands or showing affection.

Normally though, I'm ok with it. I know I can't do anything about it, so I just accept it as just one part of me, like my hair color and how much body hair I have lol.

I guess its just become such a great part of my life, that I wouldnt know what I would do if it were any different.
The only time I've ever even thought about what my life would be like if I were straight would probably be when I see all the hetero couples in my community enjoying holding hands in public and such. If a same sex couple did that within my town, the would probably be hit by a car with a deer strapped to the bumper.

and also when i first knew i was gay, at like 10, i thought NOOO LIFE OVER, then after about a year i got over it and accepted myself for who i am

i dont really think about that often because i have supportive friends who care for me. I wouldnt want my life to change right now.

I wish i wasn't gay so badly.

Seems kinda like an unfair disadvantage, you dont have to "come out straight", you never risk losing any friends and family or getting queer-bashed when you like girls. Theres just so many disadvantages to being gay that str8 guys dont have to put up with.

I know about str8 guys who live in my neighbourhood who've been arrested for ABH, get thier girlfriends pregnant @ the age of 14, all kinds of stuff and thier families dont ever blink. Let the same guys turned around and tell thier families that they like boys and jesus the s**t would hit the fan. Doesn't seem to make alot of sense to me.

yeah, if i could change the fact that i was gay, i would. It bothers me to think that i probably won't have any children of my own and that when i finally come out I might lose a few friends along the way. some days, though, it doesnt bother me because i know i am not alone

i think after a while I will get over it. don't get me wrong though, I am totally NOT ashamed of being gay
