I've always known that I am gay. Don't get me wrong I'm not ashamed of being gay infact sometimes it's great when you have the perfect guy ... and yeah get to the point! The thing i wanted to ask was do you ever wish you weren't gay? Do you ever wish you fitted in with all the other straight lads eyeing up girls instead of the lads secretly (or perhaps openly). I sometimes find my self wishing i was straight, i was just wondering does anyone ever feel the same way??

I think after a few years, I became so used to being gay that I couldn't imagine life if I weren't. There are times though I wonder what it would be like to be straight. Would life be easier? Would I have the same friends, etc.

But I think that's the same for a lot of people.

Every now and then I wish I was bisexual, merely for the added variety, but i certainly would not go straight. Its an element of who I am and something that altered my perception of the world, other people and myself.

Also I'd miss the sex...

It's probably a phase that's gonna pass, but presently, yer, I'd rather not be gay.

Some days I do, and others I don't. I think it's purely mood based, but generally I'm happy with who I am. A lot of things seem like they would be simpler and nicer if I were straight, but where's the fun in simplicity? Ye it sucks and hurts sometimes, but I shudder at the idea of not having this kind of rough experience which shapes who you are. Just relish what you have and love every moment as best you can. (I want a pita . . .)

Well, before I thought that I would rather be straight. But now that I think about it, I don't think so. I love who I am. I can't imagine what I would be like if I wasn't gay. My views would probably different on things. Who knows, if I wasn't gay I might be homophobic. Which is deffinetly not a good thing. If I wasn't gay I might not be as accepting of other people. If I wasn't gay I wouldn't have gone through some of the things I've gone through. I think, over all, being gay has made me a better person.

In all honesty I have to say yes….

Some days I do wish that I wasn’t bi, because it is so hard going to school or other placed where people know me and having to hearing them make bias comments. If you aren’t out yet then there is no problem, but I am out ( well to everyone except my parents ) and my sister knows and it is just so hard to hear the things that come out of her mouth. She hasn’t learned to except me for who I am and because she is my twin sister and I want a close relationship with her, this is the main reason why I sometimes wish I wasn’t bi.

However, although my family is really important to me if they cant except me for who I am I will probably have to let them go… I like being bi, ya girls are fine, but if I just wanted girls I could be straight. I love men, men are hot, well some of then anyways… So mainly because of this I still wanna be bi.

Idk if it's just because I'm just now coming out or what, but I wish I was straight quite a bit. It's really awkward to be with some of my guy friends now that I'm out. I hate it how they think I'm going to start hitting on them! That's like saying every straight guy hits on every girl he ever sees, when we all know that not everyone has been blessed with good looks lol. Although, it is fun hanging out with girls and checking out hot guys haha, I kind of want my guy friends back. My mom and I's relationship has taken a pretty bad blow too. Ever since I've told her she acts like she resents me and it's always so tense between us. That all leads me to wishing I could be straight.

I totally know what you mean. It seams relly weird being gay but i dunno why. I wish i could look @ the girls with my mates and just be like normal, and not have to hide things form people. all of my mates are getting so much action but i cant be open sort of thing. But then i imagin myself with my lad mates so its all good. i suppose a MMF relationship wouldbe great. Lol
